Best bet: Oklahoma ML

After how poorly Michigan played in Week 1, I can't believe the Wolverines are only 5.5-point underdogs. Oklahoma quarterback John Mateer is a legit dual-threat quarterback, throwing for 2,885 yards and rushing for 431 last season. Mateer threw for 270 in a 24-13 win over Michigan last year, and if Week 1 was any indication, that Michigan team was better than this one.

Bryce Underwood completed just 37.5% of his passes against Oklahoma last year. He will struggle again, as he completed 54.5% of his passes in Week 1.

Bet 2: Boise State Over 34.5 points

Led by Maddux Madsen's three touchdown passes, Boise State put up 27 points at Oregon. Now, the Broncos face a Memphis defense that has allowed at least 21 points to both UNLV and Arkansas State.

Memphis is allowing 308 passing yards per game, which ranks 119th in the country. The pass defense managed to intercept Trey Owens four times to hold Arkansas State to 24, but I don't expect the unit to be so lucky against Madsen, who, aside from a horrible game against Notre Dame, had just five interceptions in 10 games last year.

Bet 3: Iowa State vs. Iowa Under 40.5

The last four meetings between Iowa State and Iowa have finished with 40 or fewer points. While Iowa's offense, led by running back Kamari Moulton's 183 rushing yards and two touchdowns, looked great, I doubt the attack will have as much success against an Iowa State defense that ranked 50th in rushing defense last year.

Even if Iowa scores a lot, I'm worried about Iowa State's offense against Iowa's defense. Against Southeast Missouri State, quarterback Jaylen Raynor completed just 50% of his passes, and the rushing attack managed only 108 yards on 31 attempts.
