With Texas listed as a 1.5-point betting favorite, the action kicks off from DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, Texas, Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET (ABC).

Neither Texas nor Ohio State came out with their most efficient offensive performances in last season’s opening game. The Buckeyes won a defensive struggle, 14-7, in Columbus.
Both offenses are likely to look better in this year’s game after having blood donors wins under their belt before meeting in this Week 2 clash, but I am especially high on Texas’ offense in its home environment after Manning guided Texas to three straight double-digit wins to conclude last season.
Arch Manning 250+ passing yards (-127)
Arch Manning looked good throwing the ball in Texas’ Week 1 win over Texas State, spinning up 305 passing yards on a 74.1% completion rate. Manning cleared this line in 7 out of 13 games last season.
Though he put up just 170 passing yards in last year’s opener in Columbus, I see Manning being another year more experienced -- and this game happening on his home field -- as key factors to create a different environment in this year’s rematch.
Arch Manning 25+ rushing yards (+102)
The ability to use his legs is something we did see from Manning a year ago against the Buckeyes, as Manning dashed for a solid 38-yard output in last year’s game.
With plus-money odds on this prop from DraftKings, the overall SGP odds increase to +485 to provide an edge over the +403 odds on the identical 3-leg parlay from FanDuel.
