Everyone's a weather expert this week when it comes to prognosticating one of the biggest games of the year in college football, but here’s my stance. It would take a literal hurricane to slow down these offenses, and if there’s a literal hurricane mid-game, they won’t play the game as planned, so we’re taking the dang Over.

Georgia and Alabama rank 1st and 2nd in FBS in adjusted offensive efficiency. In points per game, these teams, again, occupy the top two spots in the nation, with both offenses nearly averaging to clear this total individually on a weekly basis.

Alabama has a slight edge over Georgia in adjusted defensive efficiency (5th vs. 11th) coming into this game, but I’ve got some faith in Gunner Stockton to make the right decisions against this defense.

That starts with taking the throws that the Crimson Tide defense gives him to rack up a promising day through the air. The raw numbers suggest Stockton can accomplish it, as Alabama has allowed 234.0 passing yards per game this season.

Another area of vulnerability for the Alabama defense could be the ability to slow down a mobile quarterback.

LaNorris Sellers is the best example of this that the Tide have seen to this point. The South Carolina QB scampered for 72 yards in his matchup with Alabama.

In last year’s SEC Championship Game win over Alabama, Stockton ran for 39 yards. His 13 rushing attempts in that game are tied for the second-most in a single game in his Georgia career - when he needs to tuck it and run against Bama, he won’t be afraid to do so.
