The college football season is heating up, and there’s money to be made. What’s the best parlay for Week 8?

The 2021 season has been one of the wildest college football campaigns to date. Clemson is unranked,Alabama lost to an unranked team, and a Group of 5 squad is now the second-best in thecountry.

Chaos has ensued, and it will continue into Week 8. There are no high-level matchups, but thatjust means the upsets will be even more surprising.

Conference rivals will face off, and plenty of elite rivalries will play out. Every team is looking to boost its resume as we get closer to the College Football Playoff rankings debut. Which schools will succeed?

Here are my top parlay picks for Week 8 of college football action (odds via FanDuel:

Week 8 Parlay Picks

Oklahoma State (+6.5, +100) vs. Iowa State

Oklahoma State is almost a touchdown underdog this week against Iowa State, even while ranking in the top 10. The Cyclones field a balanced offense, but they’ve also lost two games this season.

The Cowboys hold the same record against the spread that Iowa State has earned straight up. Despitestruggling against Texas, Oklahoma State has shown throughout the season it can winconsistently, making the value here hard to overlook.

For Iowa State to win this contest, the Cyclones would need to use a run-heavy approach, limiting the total numberof drives. That makes a blowout victory unlikely, which helps if you pick the underdog to cover.

NC State (-158) vs. Miami

This game may not carry much value by itself, but it adds to a parlay. It's low-risk, and itboosts your overall odds.

When you look at Miami, nothing specific leads to confidence. D’Eriq King struggled as the team's starting quarterback, and the Hurricanes have still performed poorly with him out due to injury. The squad's offense faces questions, regardless of King's health this week.

The Hurricanes' rushing offense has been productive, but the Wolfpack are good enough to stop a one-dimensional team. Offensively, NC State's great receivers can make big plays in close games. It may be narrow, but the Wolfpack should take this one outright.

Mississippi State (-20.5, -114) vs. Vanderbilt

The Mississippi State Bulldogs are coming off of a tough loss to Alabama, but they getan easier challenge this week. Vanderbilt is one of the nation's worst Power 5 teams, and the Commodores' defense doesn't stand a chance of stopping Mississippi State.

Assuming Will Rogers is fully healthy, the Bulldogs should easily win this game. But can they do it in blowout fashion? The good news for Mississippi State is that Vanderbilt’s offense is struggling too.

That unit will hurt itself enough with mental errors and bad turnovers for Mississippi State to cover the spread. Meanwhile, the Bulldog's offense will flourish, and that will be the difference.

Overall, there's plenty of parlay value here without taking too much risk on any individualprediction. There's value with all three picks, and grouping the plays together boosts your odds.

Combined Odds: +513
