Dustin Johnson the Favorite on DraftKings for First LIV Golf Event

The first LIV Golf Invitational event is scheduled for this week at the Centurion Club in London, UK, and DraftKings Sportsbook has released betting odds for the first event.

Not surprisingly, Dustin Johnson opens as the favorite in the smaller 48-player field for the first tournament. He signed a lucrative deal to join the LIV Golf Series.

Johnson tied for 12th at the Masters in April but since then has missed two cuts, at the RBC Heritage and PGA Championship, sandwiched around a tie for 59th at the AT&T Byron Nelson.

The tournaments on the LIV Golf Invitational Series are three-round events, starting on Thursday, so the London event begins Thursday, June 9, and finishes Saturday, June 11.

Phil Mickelson also announced that he will join the tour and take part in the first event.
