Buzz: Lions to be Featured on Hard Knocks

Reports began circulating early Monday that the Detroit Lions will be featured on the next installment of HBO's Hard Knocks series.

According to Merriam-Webster, the definition of Hard-Knock is: "marked by difficult or painful experiences or circumstances."

Oddly enough, that perfectly sums up the Lions' franchise as one of the oldest teams in the league to never appear in a Super Bowl.

The team is in rebuild mode, though that perpetually seems to be the case after going 3-13 last season, finishing with the second-worst record in the league, just ahead of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

However, the team does possess some young talent, and they give a full effort under energetic head coach Dan Campbell.

Campbell is worth the price of admission and surely will provide a plethora of entertainment. He is a very passionate individual and is hard not to root for; maybe this will be the year the Lions begin trending up. Maybe.
