A BetMGM bettor placed a $30,000 wager on the Arizona Wildcats (+600) to win the NCAA Men’s Championship tournament Tuesday. The bet would win $180,000.

The Wildcats have the second shortest odds to win the National Championship at BetMGM, and the sportsbook also recently stated that Arizona was already their biggest liability with both the highest ticket and highest handle percentages.

Arizona won the Pac-12 regular-season title and Conference Championship, and superstar Bennedict Mathurin was also named the Pac-12 Conference Player of the Year.
The Canadian sophomore averaged 17.4 points and shot 37.6 percent from three-point range, and Mathurin could cement his NBA Draft stock as a potential lottery selection with a solid March Madness showing.
Additionally, first-year head coach Tommy Lloyd led the Wildcats to a fifth-ranked adjusted offensive efficiency and 20th-ranked adjusted defensive efficiency, according to KenPom’s metrics.
