great day with Robredo pulling out a 3 setter, i'm awfully surprised GGL just rolled over like that in the second set. a lot of the public was on him as a dog

#178i got 4 plays:
Hercog -105 over Szavay - risking 5.25 to win 5
Robredo +260 over Verdasco- risking 4 - yea Robredo was vulnerable with Golubev but he has the game to compete on the ground with Verdasco. His serve has been pretty decent this tournament and I give him a good chance to cause the upset.
Montanes +160 over Melzer- risking 4
Chiudinelli +160 over Gimeno Traver - risking 4 - I'm sorta befuddled that Chiudinelli continues to be given these weird odds, +320 vs Hanescu? +130 vs Phau? now +160 vs Gimeno Traver? he is solid in the rallies, his forehand has been deadly. His first serve is dangerous when he gets it in and he has a shot to cause the upset. Gimeno Traver has been serving well and was actually very consistent on the ground in his win over Davydenko.
I see Flo Mayer was already pounded in early books to be put out at -120 in 5dimes, he should win but you can't play this with Monfils as a dog. You give me Flo Mayer as a dog and i'm all over this.
Soda and Almagro will cruise, Ferrer is vulnerable because Cuevas has that dangerous kicker out wide and is strong on the baseline. It's gonna be a fun day tomorrowComment -

Soderling -180 over Almagro - 18u to win 10u
I've watched every match for both of these guys, both werent that good in their first 2 matches but got through. Almagro has that nasty kick serve but Soderling has a much higher hitzone than most players, when Soda went down a set against Ferrer it was the best form of Soda i've seen in a while. Since his win over Fed in quarters of French. Almagro is gonna try to get him on the run but if Soda hits with the depth he did against Ferrer in set 2 and 3 its over. Soda's serve might be clicking too, he's gonna get much more cheap points off the serve than Almagro.

#193Hey Jnic, what are your thoughts on Almagro having won the last two times these guys have played on clay? He's won in straight sets both times - doesn't that worry you a bit to put 18 units on? Jw or is your bet mostly based on what you've seen throughout this tournament?Comment -

#195ok im gonna try and base everything off of 1 unit, like bet to win 1 unit and risk 1 unit on dogs. still got that negative record but this is worth a try, i know i can do it.

Simon -115 over Nieminen - 11.5u to win 10u
I watched Simon in stuttgart, he played 2 germans in Brown and Greul and showed great form. Brown was pumped up holding serve but had no shot, Greul played great and i really thought the 2nd was a tiebreaker. Nieminen was utter shit in Bastad and i couldnt watch his match but i followed the scoreline with C Rochus. He had like 12 aces but still was broken twice and almost many more times, he choked 3 match points and double faulted to give away a key game, but was barely able to serve it out. We got a great price here guys and I know Simon is healthy. There will be no feed for this match but i'm still confident.

#203i got half my bankroll left and im gonna push on shit like ginepri, but im done with my own thread. lol i suck too much.
but i knew i was screwed with simon, i wake up and he's +130. i check betfair and theres like 1.3mil on the match, simon is up 4-2* 15-40 in the 3rd set and there is like a bunch of 20k and 50k bets on nieminen. i really just cant go big on a match anymore unless its on a show court and i'm officially gonna wait at least a half hour before it starts to see what the market is doing. simon probably tanked this shit preparing for us hard court season, fvck thisComment -

#204Such is tennis betting my man. Simon just isn't the same player he was during his run in 2008. Injuries, etc. have driven him back to probably what he is, a Top 50 or so player who if he ever stays healthy could make some decent runs here and there, but he's not a dependable dude at this point. Lack of fitness, confidence, whatever.
I always say keep your tennis betting sizes consistent. All the good work you do goes to shit when you go for that one big score more often than not. Keep your head up, shit like this happens to us all! It was pretty much my week last week.Comment
