Tathiana Garbin over Marion Bartoli +885

garbin has won 3 out of 5 of their last meetings including their last one....bartoli is slow, french, overrated...not hate talk- just the analysis. its worth a shot for sure.

garbin hasnt really been playing too well lately but shes a legitimate player and has beaten people like stosur, vesnia, shvedova, hradecka, cornet and more....+1025 just seems a little ridiculous.

Garbin has announced that this will be her final singles tournament - citing reacurring injuries and an old body as her reasons. Could mean she´ll be extra motivated, but probably more likely that she´s not 100% physically and just wants the paycheck.

Hey Shanty. I haven't forgotten about you. Just looking at everything now - things went a bit pear shaped with my plans last night and this morning.

So far I've put a bet in on Kerber at +170 and Bacszinsky at -125. I'll post them properly in here once I get them all sorted. But I would warn people not to throw Sharapova in a parlay. Bad state of affairs for her right now. She could win but I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't.

Also: I'm in the CBD not far from the courts and there are dark clouds and the sky is really gray. Also it's not hot here - only 22 Celsius max today. Just keep this in mind with your bets because it's looking like it will rain at some point today and the heat won't be a factor for anyone.

Don't pay attention to me! It's actually +270, not sure why I put +170 but regardless I think those odds are wacky. Just a small bet for me though.

Shanty in case I run out of time, take a look at TennisBabe's thread as he put up a big parlay. So far the ones I'm going to put in some sort of parlay(s) are Goerges, Monfils, Haase, Davydenko. I'm doing them based on when they start so that's who I have so far. Still going through them.

Good luck today Shari. I am not playing anything yet. Too early for me. I am using a different strategy. Gonna watch these early rounds to get a feel for the players then cap later matches. Trying out something new.

Toying with Brown also, but I have a feeling his match goes about like this. Brown dominates and goes up either 2-0 or 2-1 and then Montanes rallies and I feel like punching someone. Still thinking about it.
