There have been A LOT of first set losers in the past 3 or 4 weeks. Believe me - I think I've backed their opponents almost every time.
That's why I keep yapping in here about taking dogs to win the first set. They seem to come out blazing and then fade away.
Hopefully that's the case again here for those who took Becker.

I actually think tennis parlays can be suckers bets when people just throw random big favourites together because 'there's no way they can lose'. I use them though when I'm not willing to lay the chalk on 2 or 3 players but feel strongly that they will win since I try to avoid risk as much as possible. If I have 2 -200 players that I think are a good shot, it'll require me to lay out $400 to win $200 total. If one of them loses, I'll still be down $100. With a parlay on those -200 players, I can lay out $100 to win $225. If one loses, it's the same cash result for me as if I'd laid out the chalk individually. If they both win, I end up $25 better off than if I'd played them separately.

yeah Taking a lot of heavy favs is almost always gonna get you nowhere. I didn't think much of it winning but most of those although all favs where just small favs. Suprisingly I avoided all the upsets. It was fun. I'd never lay something like that with cash. Third day in a row I've watched Becker's matches and the 2nd that I've watched Marchenko. For those of you who are worried about your bets, I think you'll be ok. Marchenko relies on others' errors and doesn't have the physical stamina to compete if Becker keeps his head in the match. Just my opinion though.
