Thinking of playing against jankovic tommmorrow,she didnt light the house afire in her last match vs wozniak,she was lucky to win...

Until I found out she is 10-1 vs bondarenko..

..Funny thing is the action is on the bondo already..

Maybe I just hate jankovic..

Nope. I have Hewitt as a futures play to win this quarter firstly. Secondly, Monfils was hobbling in his match against Beck last round. He had his left knee taped and took a timeout to get treatment on it and from what I have read was really hobbled by it in the 3rd set that he dropped. Against someone like Hewitt who plays great tennis on grass, not being 100% is a bad place to be.

Hey eagles,what do you think about Lu,watching mayer the other day play fish I was just flabbergasted thet fish did not win that match.mayer was outplayed and even though he has had success in the past at all england Lu might be worth backing at those odds.
Lu had 21 aces and won 81% of his first serves and had 18 in the first round match.At almost +300 seems tasty..I think people are reacting to Mayer win over fish more so than they should.

Beefcake I think Lu is solid. He has a good serve and is quick on his feet. I don't really have a good read on Mayer's game so I will wait for EP to chime in here.

I don't dig either of those guys much, but that price on Mayer is just stupid. He should be maybe -200, but it's a price the public will pay because he beat a "name." Lu's record in general is just bad in main draws. He's a Challenger guy who knows where he gets paid most of the time.

If I were making a pick, it'd be Lu just because Mayer is not worth that price, but that being said I don't like this match at all.

PARLAY: HEWITT + BERDYCH [-146]
Hewitt again draws Monfils who does not appear to be 100% fit at this point. Even if he were, this is the surface that Hewitt has the biggest edge over Monfils. Monfils is just 14-11 lifetime on grass and has never advanced beyond the 3rd round at Wimbledon. Hewitt meanwhile has a streak of six straight Wimbledons in which he has made at least the 4th round. If Monfils knee is better today, he will stick tight with Hewitt, but it's the Aussie who takes this. Berdych is up against Istomin who has been on a pretty good tear on grass this year. Istomin though has really had to work through two rounds here with 5 setters in both. He's taken advantage of some weaker service games from Wawrinka & Schuettler. Berdych though likely won't offer that. The Berd Man despite a low 1st serve percentage has only been broken once this week. On the Grand Slam level, especially in this tournament, Berdych has the experience edge to push through so long as his serve stays strong enough.

I would think Venus to win 2-0 might reduce the chalk. She beat Kleybanova at Wimbledon two years ago, 6-3, 6-4 without having to do anything special. Might still be a stiff price though. Total is 19, no real edge there as it's probably set totally based on that one meeting. If it was 19.5 or better, maybe the under.

Going to take a try here. Brands has gotten all the monetary support, but why? Beating Davydenko? Andreev? If that's what the public wants to base their perception on, it's fine with me. We'll face facts here. Neither is proficient on grass, but Hanescu does have some more experience on the surface. Both guys have used pretty tight serves this week to get things done. I think if Hanescu can keep his 1st serv percentage up around 70%, he'll have a chance. Brands has never progressed far on the Grand Slam level, so nerves could also play into this. Hanescu, while not traditionally a big time Slam performer, has made some runs at the French Open before and will know what to expect in these best of 5 format matches.

I swear I almost put small bets on both of them to win 3-2 but was worried that one of them would pull off the mother of all shocks and win easily. Now I'm kicking myself that I didn't of course.
