Ferrero is 0-2 vs Almagro but both of those matches were on clay. Almagro is a clay court specialist and not as good on hard court, Ferrero uses the speed of the court to his advantage and wins here.

V Troicki -280(1u)

Troicki had an impressive tournament previously, knocking off Tsonga and nearly winning the tournament. His game has been very solid lately and he has become a competitive hardcourt player. Fognini is more of a clay specialist, with only 1 victory this year on the hardcourts at the Australian open, that victory only coming against Golubev. A big vig at, but I am confident in the way Troicki has been playing recently and in the failings of Fog on all surfaces not clay.

upset special - Jeremy Chardy +425(.5u)

Chardy is a young up and comer, and Soderling has just come off a loss to Davydenko in a match he was up a set and a break yet lost. At +400 we are getting great odds, and thus worthy of a play.

not that great mara, went even yesterday, Shiavone wasn't even competitive, i just couldnt pass up the chance at +240, especially given the lackluster play in the women's game at this point

although Chardy took a set from Soderling, the match was never close with Soderling winning around 60% of the points

I like the odds we are getting here given how Troicki has been playing lately. Djoker struggled at the start of his last match before getting his act together, if he comes out flat against a firing Troicki he could lose. He's lost before to Troicki on clay, so no reason to think Troicki won't be mentally strong that he can beat him.

Stepanek is game for any match, and while I respect the talent of Gulbis (who has underachieved his whole career) - mentally he is a question mark and not the gamer Stepanek is, who is 24-8 on the hardcourts this year in the ATP tour and Gulbis is 10-14

One of these 2 should be able to pull off the win on home soil, I'm also fading Sharapova the rest of the way after her grueling match last night against Azarenka that lasted over 3 hours.
