Only the second year of the tourney.But last year if you had be every dog in 1st round matches you would have won a good chunk of change.Weird how some tourneys seem to have that effect.Maybe because its right before the French and players don't want to try really hard to not get hurt? If you stopped after the first round you would have been up a few units.Not bad for blind betting.

Also even though Strasbourg did not have many upsets last year in the first round,2007-2010 had plenty as well.

21/56..which does not seem like much but when about half of those are over +200..profit..keep it in mind for this weeks 2 tourneys..Not saying blind bet but use the info to maybe pull that trigger on a dog if you are leaning..

I'd be surprised if Radwanska played this tournament. Already cited fatigue and injury last tourney. Would be pretty stupid the week before the French to risk anything. If she does, I would definitely go against her in Round 1.

Well you picked a great spot for it. It's not a good strategy to use year round. But considering the lack of upsets last year, the law of averages would lead you to conclude there will be even more upsets this year than they averaged from 2007-2010.

You usually have to be more selective about upsets in WTA, but this is one of those weeks where most of the higher seeds are thinking about a grand slam. They just want to fulfill the obligation of appearing at the tournament, avoid injuries and catch a flight out of town. One and done and on to France ...
