A couple of things:

mrpooh is a scumbag thief who stole points from me. Lately, he has taken to following me around and insulting me. He obviously doesn't know anything about tennis and probably didn't even look at my picks.

As for Tsonga, I felt there was good value. I was betting the line. At +300 or less, I didn't think it was worth it, and I think Tsonga has enough of a shot here that the lines I posted had value (I mentioned the books).

I was reviewing the lines and saw them, and then I had to go donate blood.

yep that's what sucks about betting MLs. So many times you can bet a guy and he gives a good battle but can't quite get over the top.

Gotta ride it out and eventually you should win by picking spots and taking 'dogs.

I'm really hoping Tsonga can grab this second set because I took +1.5 sets big as well as the games line.

Tsonga actually covered the spread, but due to mrpooh's lack of ability to do arithmetic, he thinks Tsonga didn't cover. The stiff is making a fool out of himself.

Berdych in the -140 to -150 range seems fair to me.

Interesting note:

after tomorrow, five of their seven HTHs will have been on indoor hard courts. They've split the first four.

Did you catch any of the Murray Berdych match? The way these courts are playing you have to think Fed or Djokovic are very solid plays to win it all here. Tipsy can't win here because of the lack of speed.

Ferrer also is third on my radar even ahead of Murray.
