I wrote a little bit on that one today. I think Simon unless Sock is able to have one of those other wordly serving days. Once they get into rallies, I think Simon has the big edge because Sock still is mostly a forehand player. If Simon crafts points correctly and forces Sock to play his backhand enough, I think Simon will get the errors he needs to win. Pretty sure Rome won't give Sock a ton of extra pop on-serve to my knowledge.

ATP Rome Futures
Just swept through the draw. At Pinnacle, Djokovic is the -105 favorite. Nadal second at +334. Murray third at +800.

Even with Murray playing well, he's stuck in Djokovic's half of the draw so I don't fancy that one. Don't like Nadal this week either. Think there is a chance he has some hangover effect from how poorly he played in the Final and I mean just in general, he still doesn't look to me like he's in form to win a tournament against a top tier player right now. I may take a look at longer odds on Federer +1250 or even longer on guys like Dimitrov, Berdych, etc. I mean honestly what you're looking for here is to hopefully get the Finalist opposite of Djokovic picked correctly at a great price. I will be waiting for the first couple of days to see if there's even a point to investing that way this week. Off-hand, I would say Federer but that is assuming motivation which I want to see in his 1st match at least before I even try him. More than likely this is a week where I will skip futures. Next week with 250s will present better opportunities before the French.

For anyone who suffered through the Milos Raonic-Murray match the other day. Milos underwent foot surgery. Still a chance he will be ready for the French Open. It's a 1-2 week recovery reportedly.
