Only really miffed about Almagro. Thought he had Murray dead to rights in the 3rd, but he could not finish the job. Tsonga sucked, so that over fell flat. Long way to pretty much an even day.

Gut feeling one of the Servebots goes down. Muller has logged many miles even though he extends maybe 75% effort because of that serve. Groth narrowly escaped his opener & it is much more up and down IMO. Playing both for 0.5 unit like usual on the Challengers.

He could very well be on a roll and win easily - but given that he's coming in off his marquee win to date, I tend to go against those guys in their next matches if they're playing someone with a pulse. Thiem has consistency issues regardless of who he beat in the last match. Should be a good match and honestly, if he blows through the Flodonis I would not blink.

Slight chance with an A+ service game and some help from Ferrer. If his serve is off any though, he's obviously going to get murdered on ground strokes mostly. I like the 1st Set better as I think he can sustain better early before Ferrer measures his serve.

you're right...the gap between the big 3 (Nadal/Joker/Federer).and whoever is the #10 player is effectively miles bigger than that between the #10 player and #70...

case in point....you're right to "honorable mention" Ferrer as arguably the 4th best player over these years...BUT look at his h2h vs the big 3 to see your point in technicolor...Nadal/Joker/Federer have truly been "in a league of their own"
