What class acts these guys are. As soon as the dispute has been "resolved",an easystreetsports rep from theRX posted a thread of announcing a video poker contest that will "well exceed 46k". What a disgrace

Second...they said the contest COULD exceed 46k. Why include the word COULD?? My guess is it wont get to half that.
Third...Lets see who is invited...just to make sure anyone can enter and that its not only for friends and affiliates of EZ's or some made up ghosts (like the so called expert).
Fourth...If this is (and i doubt that it is) all on the up and up....will any winners in this tourny have to take polygraph tests and fly to Nigeria to collect their winnings?
I guess only time will tell....Comment -

If you wanted to spend 46k "doing the right thing", you make the old disputes right and pay Cory the rest... but that actually costs 46k, so, uh, yeah.Comment -

#9Imagine then what they will say about easystreetsports.com after this fiasco. Guess another busy night for the Powers household. Be kind to my friends when they visit for that contest of yours please. I think EZ is better off using a pinata with Alex Powers head than to give away money you dont have.Last edited by cory1111; 04-06-11, 10:00 PM.Comment -

#10He may deserve to get sodomized by a horse and run over by a train, but he didn't try to cheat you, and couldn't cheat you for the money he'd deposited with you, which makes you nothing but a garden variety thief and stiff. If you'd used the money to make old disputes whole, and paid the rest if any, then you're just doing vigilante justice, and there wouldn't have been much backlash over it, but you didn't. You didn't use Cory's money to make anybody whole- you just stole it for yourself because you think you deserve it more than somebody who beat you out of it fair and square. There's nothing honorable, or even justifiable, about that.Comment -

#11These assclowns had a march madness contest....
$1,000 if you pick all 68 games correctly. You know what the odds of that are? So astronomical that it has never been done (at least no documented proof).
A thousand bucks.
They also have a promo up for the "2011 World Baseball Classic".

The way you refer to EZ in the 3rd person (and defend every single one of their actions) makes it painfully obvious.Comment -

#16anyone else ever have to take a polygragh to get thier money. i don't even like sending in forms. EZ just stole 46k. and more posters should be talking about taking thier money out asap. more people should be outraged at how easy it was for EZ do it. there are so few honest books anymore. they remind me of lawyers, you can always tell when they are lying, thier lips are moving. i will mention what i think of them in every thread that has anything to do with the crooks at EZ. for some reason they also remind me of WAHERHUB,PARLYMAKERS, and BETPHOENIX.Comment -

#17Bottom line is if you aren't playing at Easystreet you are missing out on some of the best customer service in the industry, a great weekly newsletter, fantastic bonuses and FREE PAYOUTS by **/** on Tuesdays!
This book is a must have out for all HONEST players.
For those that think this is all fraud and stiff book and whatnot...show me 1 other complaint that Easystreet has. Also this all means less competition for the videopoker contest!Comment -

#21xstud and stevex used to constantly make back to back posts, until someone called them out on it. They are probably the same guy. If it is not the same guy, these two at least know each other. And of course they are obviously shills for ezstreet.

#22Pokerplayer why not find some more things to nitpick about? They could have offered nothing at all. They could have had no contest and said "**** the players" a lot of books didn't offer anything.
Easystreet gave out a great bonus to it's players. Gives out an award winning newsletter. Also ensures timely payouts. Any contest is an added bonus. If you want bracket contests join espn's.Comment -

#28Yes please send me cash in the mail.
In order to collect your winnings, please meet me in an alley in Botswana. I have a friend there who is a soothsayer, and he will administer a series of truth serums and needles. I will also need to determine you are not a witch. There is a river nearby where we can immerse you. Per the normal terms, you can prove your innocence by sinking.
I am happy to pay for your hotel room in Botswana.
I will interpret any refusal with my terms as a sign of fraud and grounds for denying payment.Comment -

Good for easy street, they have gotten a lot of bad press from SBR, and in my view, unfair press, so they are going to be pissy. Wouldn't you, if you built up this book, and everything is going good in till a known scammer shows up into your casino, and plays for hours straight, and 'wins' 46, in a fishy slimy way?
Well, its obvious after this, if everyone even takes corey111 person into their sports book/casino they are fools.Comment -

#33No chance in hell. Blowing 46k to randoms and keeping a stiff reputation is so much worse than "blowing" 46k to pay the player and resolving the stiff situation that even you and your clown friends can't possibly be stupid enough to do it. The contest will either 1) pay far less than 46k, 2) have such ridiculous rollover that the expected cost is far less than 46k, or 3) "pay out" large amounts to fake entries (see 1). Book it.

The only "fishy" or "slimy" behaviour is that of the book and TheRX in peddling irrelevant accusations about the player's past.Comment -
