I did say I was not to post again on this issue until it was resolved but I just want to add that all hands hours were played using perfect strategy and played so fast that there was no pause after the 2nd and 3rd royals, hands after the royals were even played at a speed of 2 seconds per hand. The client himself when asked did not know the cards that were dealt in the royals. I really don't know about anyone else, but if I were to hit a 20K hand, even if I was in the "zone" I would have at least paused to exhale, even if I did not call someone and tell them of the good fortune especially after the 3rd one.

If a bot was used, you should first.

Fix your crappy software
Then pay the player.

You were man enough to take the bets.
You need to be man enough to pay.

it is the same as some books that say. we do not allow corelated parlays, but the system take them.

If you lose they keep their mouth shut, but if you win they will not pay you.

Regardless of whether or not a bot was used, the player should be paid then booted. Had the player lost, the casino would not repay him.

For instance, most casinos in Vegas have a rule against counting cards. When I count cards, they pay me and kick me out. NOthing wrong with that.

EZ should create updated software that boots bot users very quickly if the book wants that policy on bots. It is unfair to let 1000s of hands be played and then decide and retroactively not pay.

If you take a bet, you pay the bet unless the person committed fraud. In this case there was no fraud.

As far as the bot use goes;

I know SBR initially ruled in favor of the player in the Sportbet bot case. This was a few years back but very similiar. And as I recall SBR later reversed their opinion when Sportbet proved the player was a known scammer.

Justin are you familiar with that case? I'm pretty sure Bill mediated it.

There are a couple of thoughts here in this case;
1) Easystreet should escrow the money to prove they can pay. I'm sure they have an account at BetCRIS or they could let SBR's office in Costa Rica hold it.

2) If a bot was used there should at least be a penalty. The penalty should at least be equal to the amount it helped the player win. If the bot helped the player play 20 hands a minute instead of 15 then the penalty should be at least 25%.
a) I realize the bot did not change the odds and the house still had the edge BUT; the house expressly stated in its rules 'No bots".

3) The penalty should be increased up to 100%(see the sportbet case) of the winnings if the player is a known and confirmed sportsbook/casino fraudster.

4) Both parties should allow Justin to mediate or if either side has a problem with Justin, have Bill mediate it in a binding mediation situation with the funds in escrow.

For now, there is not conclusive evidence that the player used a bot. There *is* some circumstantial evidence that this occurred. When a sportsbook says "X happened, so we want to take their money", I have always insisted on proof of X that is compelling. Not quite to a criminal level of "beyond a reasonable doubt", but more proof than "just 50% likely". At this point, the player wins on this issue.

I'm not familiar with the Sportbet case, but I'll be happy to review it.

I'm struggling with #3. If a known scammer is using an MO consistent with a planned **********, I agree. If a known scammer puts his money at risk with no chance of stiffing the sportsbook, I would not reach the same conclusion.

I will always consider new facts as they develop. But, the longer the delay, the less willing I am to continue weighing. I've only had this dispute since March 15th, so I can't really call foul on EZ for asking for a little more time, especially given the amount at stake.

Once I heard this I stopped and had to answer. Got me to laugh a little. Lie detector test can go either way. If you show that you didn't cheat on it, they going to say you rigged the lie detector test by understand the blood flow and how the test is taken. If you fail the test they might of rigged the lie detector test.

If you going to take it you have to believe you didn't cheat, because when you get there they put embedded in your head that you did cheated and make you nervous to fail it. They might also trick you into the question that has nothing to do with the issue but would put a relationship with it.

I have no idea who this Cory is, but my guess is that this rumor is total bs. It was started solely by Marvin who i think is looking for an excuse not to pay. Marvin already changed all the facts between my dispute with Powers so it wouldnt surprise me if he did that here too. If facts do come out about Cory, then my stance will change but, I guess we'll just have to wait.

I also find it amazing that yet another day went by and no "official statement" from EZ. Maybe they should spend less time soliciting for deposits and more time taking care of payouts and disputes. Glad to see this is a priority for them.

I guess I have too much time on my hands but i wanted to get more info on this DGS software company so I just went to dgscr.com, got the number and called them and talked to them for about 10 minutes on the phone. Its actually not a very big company (approx 30 employees) and believe it or not, i think they are located in Costa Rica. After talking to them and although I am not an IT guy or software guy myself, there is not a chance in the world that the player could have cheated in any way. I also have a call into a guy named Chris (who i think is the president of the company). He'll be back in the office this afternoon but the lady i talked to is very familiar with the dispute that is going on and although it wasnt her place to say it, she did elude to the fact that the book may just be looking for an excuse not to pay. When i talk to Chris, I will update. EZ, you ought to be ashamed of yourselves to try to stiff a casino winner, all the while taking money from your casino losers.

If anyone wants to talk to them yourself, they seem very nice and willing to accomodate any questions. Give em a call.

I don't have an opinion one way or another... but pokerplayer, do you really think that if cory1111 found a glitch in the software that DGS would own up to it? I am sure that every software provider would say "It is impossible to cheat our software". When the truth is they really have no idea until it happens.
