I meant to ask this a while ago, but I was having trouble depositing with my **** at the start of this years MLB season. Eventually I talked to TD and they said it was because I was trying to use it on a Gambling website. Their reasoning was because they cannot track the money or if I am actually using the card there or if it is someone else using my card, even though online I had to do some security checks through a TD Candaa portal to ensure it was me. I then asked if they could pre-verify it, since I called in and asked some more security questions to prove my identity. They said no.
I am just curious as to why this is? Remember I live in Canada so there are none of those bullshit anti-online gambling laws, and I am of legal age to gamble.
