My personal experience is that:

1) They are definitely easy to beat, as Moon has alluded to
2) While I wouldn't classify this family of books as scamworthy, not even close actually, they are taking far longer to pay than they used to (which should not come as a surprise to any serious punter in these parts)

Still Moonbeam, I am always interested in your posts and would very much like to hear what was the straw that broke the camel's back here, so to speak.....

Is it the Phoenix thread? I think it would have been OK if you'd given reasons why they were on your "scam list". That said, I've seen much worse random unjustified rants at books, eg. the recent one where the OP went off at WillHill for having the audacity to request ID for a Neteller withdrawal and then take 4 to process it, including checking ID.

Your thread was never deleted. It hasn't been responded to since last night & fell to the bottom of Page 1.

The only mod action even taken was approving the post of someone who was automatically on Post Review due to having Shared IP's.

I have done well there, but haven't found their lines to be that great. What makes them easy to beat? (I think we maybe talking about chasing steam there, but I'd like to hear why either in the thread or pm)

I would be inclined to agree that WagerChief is possibly a scam ONLY on the basis that they have called me literally, no exageration, 35 times in the last month... despite me telling them not to call me, MORE THAN ONCE! I've never used them and opened an account purely for the contests here at SBR. The only other book to call me after I told them not to (so far) is, ironically, BetPhoenix. So.. while I may not actually consider either of these books scams... any book that is so desperate as to call someone to seemingly beg for a deposit, I will never use that book in my life. (I signed up at BetPhoenix for some free $100 bet promo a while ago, and never deposited there, either).

And as for BetMania... I see that as BetPhoenix's slightly shadier little sister.

I've heard that Covers is really the only site where it gets over the top with the deleting of critical threads.

SBR in my opinion has always been very fair and balanced which is good for the players and also the sponsors.

I agree. SBR is a very "free of speech" forum. Nevertheless SBR deleted a 5Dimes thread.
But ok, maybe they have some reasons for this. I´m not unforgiving

I have had a bet I thought I placed vanish but had no evidence that it was accepted so now I always take a screenshot in case it happens again

If you bet a huge mistake on a live line, it's likely to disappear without a trace.

It wasn´t a live bet Hareeba. Thats why I´m 100% sure I placed this bet and confirmed it correctly. They deducted the ammount from my account.

But as you mentioned, it´s better to take a screenshot. That´s alot of work. But it´s better to be pissed in the end

not a lot of work to take a screenshot if you use Screenhunter (free) - can do it all with a single function key depress - shot taken and saved
