#74WagerWeb sportsbook complaint update
The WagerWeb (SBR rating D-) player from SBR's report on August 12th is still owed $2,500. On July 6th, the player filed a sportsbook complaint against the Costa Rica based online sportsbook company WagerWeb, indicating that he had not been paid a $5,000 withdrawal. SBR followed up on the complaint, and eventually received the player's confirmation that half of the payout request was filled by the sportsbook. WagerWeb claimed that the funds were originally sent via a processing method that was ultimately frozen, and believed at the time that there was a chance the player might still receive the first payout.
WagerWeb also claimed that the player communicating with SBR was a third-party, or "beard", acting on behalf of the account-holder. A beard is an individual sports bettors might use to register an account in the name of, whilst still placing the bets themselves. It can be a tactic used to hide ones identity if the original player is a known professional, has a negative history at the sportsbook in question or wishes to avoid being associated with a gaming company. WagerWeb questioned the legitimacy of the email address associated with the player, but declined to delve into specific details.
SportsbookReview is following up with WagerWeb on the player's remaining, unpaid $2,500 balance.

#78These guys are spending a bunch on marketing. I think Marty Davis the old CMO of Nine/VIP from pre-UIGEA works there now too. Seems they have plenty of money to spend on market would be nice if they paid trix off plus interest with some of it. Seriously hate that company; always did.Comment -

#84If you have a complaint, file it now. I can't promise anything obviously, but this may be an opportunity. If you have a valid complaint but fail to file it, you're potentially screwed if the other outstanding issues get resolved, and WW gets a substantial upgrade.Comment -

#87seems like the old management team took it personally and wanted to stick it to trix. hopefully, this new crew can work something out. I recently joined WW back in november and got lucky on a hot run with college basketball. I've made 5 withdraws at $3k each and got them all pretty smoothly. so hopefully it's a good sign for trix. #939.) Now onto wagerweb's scheming ways that have absolutely nothing to do with the issue of allow cps at hand:
a.) what happened to my 1,732$ on my account after the initial confiscation, they even were allowing me to withdraw the amount, but the moment I brought the case to public scrutiny, they froze my and my balance. So no matter WHAT their argument is, they have no right to steal my remaining funds in their acct, so where is the 1,732$ of my funds that has nothing even to do with the argument at hand?
b.) How much do they admit to losing to me NET in cps over 2-3 months? They confiscated 9,578.60$, but when me and you went over the logs the net win was only $4302, so how can they back up the 9,578.60$ confiscation justification for NET cp winnings or not?, if so show us the proof/logs. If not, then where is the additional $5276.6 (9,578.60$ confiscated - $4302 actual net cp win) of my funds they stole? Which also have nothing to with the argument at hand, it's pure an accounting error on their part.
c.) Whatever happened to the 4k+ partial payment OSGA brokered for me and wagerweb, and which dan agreed to? I even have the email proof that he agreed to the amount will be sending it out shortly. Where are those funds? Those also have nothing to w/ the issues at hand (which as I understand it is about software glitches)
In the end, these additional sums they stole from my account never had anything to do with cps, they just did not want to pay it. So again, it's a book's credibility when making a payment.Comment -

#95to my knowledge, wagerweb is a deadzone in terms of players right now, that's why there's been no legit wagerweb players chiming in the recent weeks about how "great" they are. also to my knowledge, b/c / due to their rapid flatlining customer base, they're growing desperate and offers more loses/per head back to affiliates that generally any other book to attract unscrupulous affiliates who would take green over integrity and push for their brand name hard, to my knowledge you're one of the those such affiliates/shills and you're not fooling anyone.
the problem is: have you considered what would happen to all the players you send there actually would up winning, i know what would happen: they would look for reasons to do a mass stiffing (affiliates included since they upped your blood money)
their large premium of loses/head attracted apparently sbr, who have been governed by a bunch lazy and greed cats who can't see past their current pocket, what happens if they stiff everyone again in one year, back on blacklist for the book? (and what do you think would happen to your hefty commission if they do have a bad year, my nightmare list don't worry you abit)
sbr_john: you brag about your networth, you're really ready to throw away the integrity flag for a measly more affiliate dollars? and you're willing to throw one of your oldest/best moderator (Justin7) under the bus to accomplish this? (wagerweb has gone insane w/ excuses and lies, any sane man can see this, J7 bearding as me... lol, if they can make that claim to sieze my funds, they can do it ANY player, all they have to do is claim he's bearding for someone else, j7 has worked with you for how long now? and you're willing to just stand there and let them take pot shots at him?)Comment -

#96This and it's never changed. This company has a history that dates back to before SBR even existed as liars. It sounds like Dan was involved with this dispute 3 years ago, and still today? Could this be the same Dan who was Dave's buddy that was running their marketing department more than a dozen years ago observed and has been involved in multiple player thefts? And it's not just here it's an entire company with a long track record of lies. Most the staff working there are known scammers, or have been associated with scammers for a very long time.Comment -

#101i know where to start with you john: for one thing, i already knew you sold out to wagerweb, and so does every reasonable forum member on sbr. I knew it when 1.) you gave them the upgrade without contacting me to see if the dispute was resolve, 2.) when you changed one-sided thievery to "2 sides to every story", 3.) when you said we should abide by the ruling of "OSGA" (in you OWN words LOL), 4.) when you ignored J7 several meaninful attempts to engage in logical conversation and stonewall him, forcing him to go on record, 5.) when you erased my bumps to this thread and restricted my account, 7.) when you threatened to ban posters for agreeing w/ me
i knew all this, just like you know wagerweb through a major marketer is paying a large premium over other books per losers/head, i can only imagine what ganchrow would do if he was still around. i have already been in looking help elsewhere with regards wagerweb, i WISH YOU GOOD LUCK dealing w/ wagerweb and the unfortunate lambs you led to the slaughter in a year from now (on who am i kidding, i'm actually looking forward to it)
but the sad thing is, you still missed the point of that whole post! the post is to tell you grow some backbone and backup one of your old/best moderators in sbr history, sure i did not 100% agree with his conclusions to all the disputes (well into the thousands) he handled for, but at least he tried to reach them at a LOGICAL level, which is more than i can say when i look around the room see the new sbr_modes. i gave you an apology to at least back up your main guy, you don't know what to say? how about "Hey wagerweb is absolutely wrong in accusing justin7 of any misdoing yet was unable to provide a single thread of proof." or how about "Hey J7 handled thousands of cases for us per year, we at sbr strongly believe in his integrity and honesty and knows he's not personally involved in the dispute"
instead we get quiet humm from sbr suggesting hey maybe J7 went on record b/c we don't trust in his decision-making. (not that we have any proof, but we get the greens!)Comment -

Don't you think it would be the opposite and more players who are having problems would be chiming in here? The people who defended them realized it wasn't worth their time to comment because you would e bully them. Why, you have to be a shill. No way players are treated well at Wagerweb. Crawl back under that rock, shill. lol
There are many satisfied players there, who get paid, etc. They may just have enough time to have a SBR forum rally for wagerweb.Comment -
