Can I file an official complaint against Betonline.com?
Edit by SBR Staff: We're closing this thread so as to not promote players taking shots at sportsbooks.

For the record, BetOnline shared that the player had two addresses in the system, and following standard Know Your Customer (KYC) procedure needed him to resolve the discrepancy and provide a utility bill. Because the utility bill was not provided until Saturday evening, the player was advised that the Friday discount could be applied the following week.

I've only played with these guys a few times. I used my credit card to deposit. I lost previously. A few weeks ago I made another deposit to play the Spurs against Houston for the series. I won that one so I requested a pay out of $500 to cover my deposit amount and then bet the rest on Kell Brooks vs Errol Spence. Before I first played with them they told me that payouts are free on Fridays. So I requested a payout on Friday for $500 and then I have the other bet pending. At first they sent me an email telling me that they can't process it because my address doesn't match with where the check is going. I sent them back an email telling them that's BS, it's the same exact address in my profile. Then they asked me to send in a copy of my utility bill. So I did that. Then they told me that they weren't going to process the payout (after I jumped through their hoops) but I can request it next Friday.

I told them if they try that crap with me I am going to do a *********** with AMX and rip them on social media. Then I got an email back from another guy telling me that there is no point going back and forth because they have no record of me requesting a payout.
These people are a flat out scam. I did the ************ but I want to file a complaint against them if they have some type of regulatory agency. Any suggestions on that?

I was trying to get them to stop playing games with me and pay me out. That's why I threatened to dispute it with AMX. Guess I have to hope that my dispute is successful now huh? Thanks for that link, I'm going to check it out right now.

You will never be able to make a deposit at any online gambling site with a CC. They have a blacklist.

I get the idea but as people above mentioned it's actually a really bad idea.

Basically you are telling them that you are cancelling the deposit, which also cancels any associated play/winnings.

They will probably just refund to the card rather than let it become an official dispute and then blacklist you from using cards again.

If you haven't really already done that, let the dispute analyst know and they may still be able to fix it for you.

                  Complaint

Thanks guys, I just filed that complaint right now with the forum. I had to threaten to do something because these pricks were jerking me around so much. Over a $500 payout when I have previously lost money with them before.

Going to have to take a chill pill. Getting money out of books is not easy. They are dealing with a lot of issues and the customer service is never very good. You've got to work things out and give them second and third chances. Things will not go well otherwise.

It is not going to get any better.

                      Payouts

Thanks, but I'm not taking a chill pill. If I lose they get my money. If I win I expect to get paid in accordance with their guidelines. That simple. I'm not begging or asking multiple times for them to pay me my money. And I'm not trying to hear a bunch of lame excuses.

Might as well request a payout for all your money and not gamble online with that attitude. Cause there will be problems with books mostly in terms of delays processing payouts... Should just stick to over the counter betting

I love how sportsbooks will let anyone deposit with a CC and no verification, but when they want to withdraw they need an ID, CC authorization form, utility bill, etc.

Buffalo... I was thinking the same thing.

Gopher... Buffalo hit the nail on the head. Hey... I understand you're pissed off. We've all been there. The only advice we can give you... make sure you have your ducks in a row before you make a PO request from any book. What do we mean? I know it sucks... but kind of expect to get fukked over on your first PO request from any book. It's just common. I don't want to say this is a stall tactic... blah blah blah... I don't want to rip on any book.

But... you did use a CC to reup with them correct? All books have a standard procedure they use on CC deposits and then asking for a PO. You have to expect this. Only advice I can give you is to study Bitcoin and how easy it is to move from book to book... or book to you. Make a deposit using Bitcoin to any book... then ask for a PO... if they give you any issue after that... check back with us.
