Multiple accounts, same bookie(one broke), now weird things. Should i be worried?

Hey guys, it's all in the title. Before anyone jumps to conclusions, i did not have any ill-intent or any intent to gain an advantage out of this. My previous account was unusable.

Basically, i signed up to a betting service perhaps two years ago. We'll call them BallsyBetting. I played a little at a low level and never verified (cant remember why).

The past week they've had some very good promos so i decided to come back. I tried to verify my old account and it failed. Turns out it has an incorrect spelling of my name; the two letters are next to each-other on the keyboard (John vs Jonb for example).

I emailed them to change it, they promised they'd send it to the accounts team and never heard back (3-4 days). I decided to just create a new account instead. The old one was locked due to being unverifiable.

A promo was running tonight for the Aus Vs China game so i really wanted to take it up, as i would have been able to on my existing account. I got excited about the double money offer and made a new account so i could actually use it. They also automatically credited me with a deposit bonus too, which they shouldn't do as its illegal in my particular state/province (but not the country as a whole).

I tried to check the horses just now and it says "technical errors", i tried to see the sports and it says i was blocked from the market, just like my old unverified account said. I logged out and tried to log back in and i couldn't get in. Tried to reset my password and no email arrived (kinda normal for them though). No attempt made to disguise it, signed up with exactly the same name (bar the mistake), address, etc.

Do you guys think i'm in the shit or is it just a temporary technical difficulty? I wasn't trying to scam them, i would have happily blown my cash on their service, i just wanted an account that was actually capable of doing so.

Edit: Website is www.unibet.com.au, no use concealing it i guess. SBR lists them as C- (http://www.sportsbookreview.com/unibet/) but thats the .com (not .au) site licensed in Malta not Northern Territory (a state/territory of Australia).

it is very likely they identified your multiple accounts ... for some books it is just a matter of 30-60 minutes to link the accounts and close it ... some books will let you play and close the account when you will request your first payout

I called up and explained the situation. It's 2:50 AM here (their phone lines close at 3:30 AM) so i'm not expecting them to be exactly...fully staffed.

The guy just seemed like a trader/phone betting guy and didn't know much about it. He said email the website and they'll pass it to the accounts department (the same one that never changed the name on my old account...). He did mention it was locked due to multiple accounts though.

He briefly and randomly mentioned they might transfer the funds across which gives me hope but he didn't seem to know much about it when i directly asked him what would happen to my money.

I'll just see how it unfolds from here.

I think that is obvious misunderstanding, so maybe SBR could handle this. C-rating for Unibet is one of those ratings I dont understand, they are much better than C-.

I have opened double accounts several times. They have just removed other one.

Camouflage is extremely important when dealing with multiple accounts. That's why I'm using 4 different modem and multiple computers.

if you are using the same info (name, address) there is no way you won't get caught ... or they will get you when you'll have to verify your accounts

can you give us some more info on this. If I have only 1 modem and want to change up IPs I heard if you reset the box the IP will change. If I do this will they realize I am still the same person?

    Hi Torrentialluck3,

If it looks to them like you attempted to take the bonus twice you might have an issue. But that Australian regulated version of Unibet should be reasonable in how they treat it.

Best to go the email route as the fellow on phone suggested. A front line CS person isnt going to be able to fix it for you so will need to be escalated.

I suspect they will sort this out for you but if they don't or you are not happy with their decision you are welcome to submit a complaint form and SBR will try to help.

with static i.p resetting modem, will give u a new I.P SOMETIMES (internet protocol) , but it reverts back usually to original, and using a home based ISP like (rogers/bell) u can still have ur new I.p tracked to a demographic which narrrows your location, so short term answer is no,

if u want multiple accts , once youve been limited somewhere,

reset your cpu to back to factory settings, by a mobile turbo hub(new i.p), 30-40$ a month for data,
or give ur a friend a laptop to keep in his house, (new i.p) and CONTROL the cpu using a remote service like LOGMEIN.com

    #PRIMO

    pri·mo

    adj.1. First.
    2. Slanga. Exceptionally good of its kind; first-class.
    b. Highly or most valuable.

Doesn't that kinda depend on how much you're betting and how much success you expect?
