Books are very wary of clams about hacked/unauthorized bitcoin withdrawals.
They have always had to deal with players getting drunk and forgetting or going on tilt and losing all in the casino and then claiming it wasn't them.
But now with bitcoin many of the scammers who thought it was a good idea before think it's an even better idea now as BTC withdraws allow them to get paid without account tracking.
Makes for a very tough argument with books over these cases..Comment -

Online cash transactions aren't really cash transactions, they involved a third party. I was only being sarcastic because there is a major lack of understanding of what Bitcoin is here in the mainstream online gambling community. I should just take time to explain better, but my time isn't unlimited and there is always google. Again none of this directed at you.
Bitcoin is cash, there is no Bitcoin company that can reverse a transaction. You need to gaurd you Bitcoin like you would cash in your wallet. The same laws that protect the cash in your wallet protect you with Bitcoin, it's not the wild west with no laws. But if you lose your Bitcoin the police need to track down the thief. Your chances at recovery are the same as if you lost your cash to a pick pocket. And while it might seem scary you can't reverse a transaction like you could with a cc, you get the benefit of transacting the same as you would with cash in person but over the internet. Freedom isn't always free, so while you need to be more careful with Bitcoin than a cc number, you actually own the Bitcoin and are free to transact with whomever you want regardless of your jurisdiction or what some politician thinks you should or shouldn't be able to do with your own money.

You guys with a decent amount of coin should look into Bitcoin Armory. If you have an old computer laying around you keep your private keys (think password) on that without ever connecting to the internet. You run Armory on your regular pc and use a flash thumb drive to sign the transaction on the "air gapped" SAFE netbook with no access to the internet or hackers, and then send the Bitcon from the online computer. There are also a lot of new hardware wallets, you plug them into a USB port on your pc and even if your pc is infected with a virus or you share the pc with other people the private keys (password) is protected on the hardware wallet and you can send the Bitcoins through the USB. I use Armory just cause I had an old netbook around and it's free, but the hardware ones seem like a good choice too. Blockchain.info is good too just make sure to use 2FA so if your Blockchain.info password is stolen they still need your phone to access your Blockchain.info wallet.Originally posted by thespeculatorComment -

Conventional books should be sending out an email confirming that a bitcoin withdrawal has been asked for. Conventional books don't allow for 2FA.
Bitcoin books have algorithms that red flag accounts if it seems that the withdrawal is fishy. Conventional books should take more precautions until they perfect bitcoin transactions.
