I liked Gladbach too. Crazy form right now. Just wondering about that motivation factor you stated...other times when I have backed teams in positions where big move-ups are within reach, like today, the other team always plays "spoiler". Burg will have just as much motivation to keep Gladbach from the top. Regardless, I'm in. Surprised more people aren't on this

I wouldn't say 'always' plays the spoiler. Give me the form team any day of the week. But this was a perfect spot for a spoil to happen as Hamburg are one of those teams that have just been really strong away, they can be very disciplined in defence too. I still wasn't convinced that that would be enough to stop Gladbach, but it was.

I've bet on on gladbach twice so far this season and lost twice. They are never in a position to be considered favorites and I honestly don't know how they've gotten so many wins

'Stats' wise, they have the best defence in europe, including heavyweights such as the top defensive teams in spain (Barcelona), Italy (Juventus) and a tighter back four than the other 2 german big boys you mentioned.
They are also unbeaten against bayern & dortmund this season, having beaten bayern twice in their last 2 meetings. As their run continues, they will not only remain the best defensive team in all of europe, but can lay claim to being the tightest defence in all of bundesliga history.
Calling them an average team is going a bit too far, what they've done in the space of a season is nothing short of remarkable, I had a feeling today was a let down spot, happens to everyone. No reason to bash them without seeing the bigger picture.

Couldnt agree more mate. They have been absolute gold this year, but you can't expect the to come through everytime. That's what makes soccer such a great game.

They have taken an impressive twelve points from their last possible eighteen and are playing against relegation threatened Wolves. WC Quals Asia - Australia v Saudi Arabia, Over 2.5 @ 2.15 - 1 unit
I am surprised to see odds juiced towards the under here. This is probably due to the predominately low scoring games in this group so far. But this is the final game for this qual group. Australia are guaranteed a spot through into the next round. Saudi Arabia must win to guarantee progression. Aus won the first leg of this matchup 1-3 in September and I expect another high scoring game tonight.

For Australia, there are new faces, a host of A-League players and a couple of stars returning to the fold for the first time in a while, this is a big opportunity for some players to try and cement a spot in the squad moving forward. Also coach Holger Osieck recently putting lots of pressure on the team, "I expect from my boys a great performance in every game we play. Coming to the term qualifying, all the boys have to qualify for the next round to be a part of the Socceroos. If I see any complacency here, there is going to be a reaction for sure."

I am expecting the Socceroos to come out to play, and they will not want to disappoint a vocal home crowd. Ticket sales have been strong too, i'll be there cheering them on myself.

The Saudi coach is laying the blame of their bad performance against Aus on Ramadan! Seems the players are not fasting this time, and have spent the last 2 weeks in NZ getting acclimatised. They will be on the attack in this game and they cannot accept a loss, so it should be an attacking game throughout.
