yeah your right, they all can't be as easy as the Newcastle game. I had given up hope on the over. It looked dead and buried for a long time, but better to be lucky than good.

I was very surprised with Glory, they just never really pressured much, or looked like scoring at all, except for the goal they actually got. I wonder if the travel back and forth has finally caught up with them...

EPL, MANCHESTER UNITED vs LIVERPOOL, Both Teams to Score - Yes @ 1.76 - 1 unit

Despite Liverpool's recent success against Man Utd, I expect man utd to finish on top in this encounter, they have a lot to play for here, still battling for top of the EPL table. But with de Gea in net once again I will not trust Utd fully. Both teams have attacking options, and i don't expect them to be denied. Both teams should be able to get atleast one into the back of the net. Safe bet for me is both teams to score.

Only one play tonight. I like Man City to win as well at pretty good odds, but with their top talent still in Africa I will lay off.

The only play worth touching is Ivory Coast and I don't care how juiced it is. They are by far the class of the field and have no major injury worries. They have not conceded a goal all tournament but don't be fooled by taking the -1 AH. This team is solid in defence and will be happy with a 1 goal lead if that is what is on offer.

The opposition, Zambia have been playing well and are also coming into the final with a fully fit sqiad. They have also not conceded in their last two games, but against the likes of Drogba, Yaya Toure, Gervinho and Didier Zokora they have very little chance of coming out on top in my opinion. And yes, Zambia are playing for their fallen comrades today, but no amount of tragedy will get them a win here. Making the finals is their feel good story.

Adelaide win 3-0 to win the first leg of the parlay. They made it harder for themselves then I expected but I will take it. Definitely should have been more goals in that game.

On to Europa League!

Europa League, Lazio v Atletico Madrid - Atletico Madrid AH 0.0 @ 1.925 - 1 unit
Lazio have some injury concerns and even though they are always strong at home, including CL games, Atletico Madrid are in nice form and definately the stronger side. However, while I do see Atletico winning this game, I think their main focus will be on not conceding and a draw is possible, allowing them to finish this on home soil. Hence my choice of the AH.


Europa League, Ajax v Man Utd - Man Utd to WIN @ 1.90 - 1 unit
A few players rested for Man Utd for this match up but Ajax are depleted by injury as well. And I get the impression Sir Alex really does want something out of this competition and bowing out early will not be what he has in mind. Pitch conditions in Amsterdam look ok, certainly nothing worse than on offer in the UK, so Man Utd should be comfortable enough. This is the first time these two sides have come head to head, but I think the class of the English side will prevail. I still do not trust de Gea in net, so this is kind of a gamble for me, but I do think he should be proud of his performance against Liverpool, and I am hoping the extra confidence gets him, and Man Utd through this game. If in doubt, take the over 2.5.

I've gone over the euro card for today and don't see too much I like. I might make a small play on the Fiorentina/Napoli game, but will see how this one goes first.

German Bundesliga 2, MSV DUISBURG vs FC ST. PAULI
Both Teams to Score - Yes @ 1.60 - risking 1 unit

If you can't get this, Over 2.5 @ 1.77 is better value but I like the option of both to score. St Pauli are in the hunt for a promotional spot while Duisburg are fighting to stay out of relegation, they only have a 4 point buffer at the moment. I see both teams wanting to win this one, or at least take a point each. It should be a good fight in chilly Duisburg.

Both teams have leaky defensive structures. Duisburg has conceded in 9 out of its last 10 games. St Pauli has been a little better, but still conceded 8 out of its last 10. But one of those was at home. St Pauli have managed atleast a goal in every one of their last 10 Bundesliga2 games, Duisburg not quite so good, scoring in 8 out of their last 10. Both of these times were against clubs with solid defences so I think this will be less of a factor.
