Let's look at it this way: Japan are at home against Argentina. This is only a friendly game. It's not a must-win game. This is an Argentinian side with a suspect defense on the road against a quick Japanese side. Argentina also tend to struggle in games they're expected to win easily as their 1-0 win against Ireland would suggest. We may consider Argentina the better side, but in a friendly you never know how many minutes a team's best players will play. Argentina may pull out their best players in the 2H and we may have Argentina's second string team against Japan's first team. So the value here lies with the home dog.

In the case of Russia, Andorra is the only team they've beaten on the road. On the flip side, Ireland are 4-0-1 in their L5 and have been imperious at home. Let's face it: the Russian team has not been the same since Huddink's departure. I don't see them qualifying from their group.

I agree with you on Russia. I got a news that Messi might be playing 90 minutes according to both national's football associations, because Argentina accepted "extra cash" for Messi playing a full game.... Dont kill me if i am wrong...

Will they keep his corpse on the pitch if he dies during the game?
BTW, Messi only has 2 legs, not 3 or 4. So he can only use 2 legs at a time. There'll be a total of 22 pairs of legs on the field of play and Messi owns only 1 of those.

Messi, Militio, Tevez, this game isn't just some game that Argentina doesn't care about winning, they have the new manager who wants to start off strong...Argentina -1/2 for -140

    Still pending:
Ireland +150 to bring down a disinterested Russian team.

Ireland can definitely at least get a draw, I'd go with the DNB option. Nice picks Wilforth.

Russia showed up today. It doesn't happen often. I don't regret fading them on the road.
