I have a Netherlands future, and feel they are underrated.

Every play that I have posted, has been based on observations I have made. So far I think Brazil has done what they have been expected to do. Friday feel expectations meet reality, and that reality is that Brazil is beatable when opponenets dont lay down to them.

First of all giving names doesn't make anything good or bad, they are just names. With that the names you give me are not more than average, maybe Sneijder at times is above average. Holland game always gets in trouble when the go through the middle, and most goals are great moves by one player and amazing accuracy in front of goal. Brazil is almost perfect from the goalie to the keeper. The game goes with a flow, very accurate, and goes from foot to foot. With the ability all players have to dribble well, it's deadly.

First of all don't doubt my understanding in soccer, or football in my "world". Anyway, Holland from two years ago had better players, Holland now has the better teams. And I completely agree about the mistake they made two years ago, it doesn't change they are not even close to the top teams in the world.

Very true about the cat and mouse. Many teams lose sometimes because the name that they are playing, and not the actual skill. But this Brazil team is complete. For years Brazil had to score more goals to win, now they can win from defence, because the back line with the goalie are amazing, that is why they are by far the best Brazillian team in years.

Nothing to do with the things you wrote. Brazil plays a lot faster, too fast for Holland, they are too stable in defense and there is no way Robben can do what he did to Manchester or Slovakia, which will take a lot from the Dutch side.
We will know very soon who is right, but Holland is a good team, not more than that.

The way demening way you talk about the midfield of holland is laughable , if you compare them to the midfield players of Brazil. Brazil play with 3 very average midfielders felipe de melo an paceless very average player compared to a van Bommel who is captain the bayern munich team with his razor sharp passing and tackling( he didn't have his best passing game last match but he has the qualities) or an Nigel de Jong who is a faster version of de Melo compared to an very old and slow Gilberto Silva. They key aspects of this game that will decide this game are the following :
- How will kuyt cope with Maicon and hope will Maicon cope with elia after 70 minutes when he comes on
- How will Nigel de Jong or van Bommel handle Kaka
-How will van Bronkhorst cope with Robinho or any other pacy attacking player on him.

Seeing the odds and i estimate it being a 60-40 match 60 % brazil 40 % Holland
i see great value in the 4.7 odds offered by betfair for holland

What Robben did against Slovakia, he has done all season in the CL. lol Sneijder above average? He was the key to Inter winning the CL. His precision passing gave them wins over Chelsea and Barcelona. Just as he steered Robben clear in the last game. (where was Kaka with Real Madrid?) I probably won't bet on this game, because there are too many variables. But your ideas about this team are somewhat 'imaginative'.

I think he refers to the discipline and I agree with darkhorse on this matter, and i quote:

Whether or not my knowledge of the Dutch team makes me biased, as you suggest, is irrelevant, because I will not bet on this game. I simply corrected you so that others wouldn't have the wrong information.

Of course, it isn't necessary to have the correct information to win a single bet. It is certainly possible that Brazil will win. They are the favorites. But in the long term, with the way you cap soccer, be careful not to overestimate yourself. Your analysis of Holland is very poor.

I got my money on HOlland Obviously who are currently on a run of unbeaten games and Robben is back and Friday u will see Brazil give up atleast two goals to the Dutch. The key for the dutch is just to play a short pass game and have Robben/Sniejder roam all over the middle of the field and keep the ball upfront as much as possible.

I've always been a holland fan, and i'd rather see them face any team in this wc instead of brazil. Brazil just always have an edge over netherlands because of their speed, i remember watching Ronaldo run all over them in the last couple of wc and euros. Should be a close one, maybe brazil 2-1 or 1-0. I just feel that the defense is too weak to win against brazil, and brazil's defense is even better this year.
