    Copa Sudamericana: LDU Quito/Fluminese

What do you guys think about this match?

I'm def. leaning o2.5 at first glance but have no idea on the situation of the match as I do not follow this competition.

Advice from our south american friends would be nice!

    Thanks guys.

Quito, Ecuador (Home of LDU Quito) Elevation: ~9000 ft.
Rio De Janeiro, Brazil (Home of Fluminese) Elevation: ~50 ft.

I think I've already found my pick.

Quito has been a cash cow at home in this cup but its hard to fade Flu here as they are the other South American cash cow and on an 8 game win streak. Add to that this is a grudge match, these two teams played in the final of the copa libertadores last year were Quito won in a penalty shoot out. Flu will want to not concede in this game, its too hard to play an open fast game at that height, they have to sit back, defend well and hope to score on a counter or set piece. If they try to attack this team it could get brutal, you can't play these guys in the mountains they have the biggest home advantage in competitive football.

If you can bet in-game Colon looks good, Estu is resting their A team for the world club cup, game is just starting.

Flu +1 is -125 looks good value, they will sit back and try get a draw or even a loss by 1 goal there take

Cool, we all agree, kinda, not really, lol.

Already on Quito and the over. Line spiked WAY up right after I bet it, glad I caught it early at -155.

On the o2.5 as well, hoping to see Quito cover that by themselves, with help from Flu.

Thanks for the advice fellas, always appreciated!

    This one could get ugly.

I don't know if I should take Quito now in the live at 2.50 odds.

I know they will last longer than Fluminense up there.

Hmm... What should I do? Take it at 2.62 or just stay away?
    The draw is at 2.40
    Fluminense is at 2.50

Now those are some tempting odds.

    You're right Karayilan.

I was eyeing it on the live and I didn't take them.

They scored late in the game.

Unfortunately, for me, US books don't do live betting for soccer, only sometimes for halftime on CL games and such, but never for South American games.

Quito right where they should be, with a 2-1 lead going into second half.

    LDU Quito 4-1

...with some time left to make it 5-1.

I think that's a wrap folks, glad I stuck to my own feelings and heart on this one, Flu. had no shot anyway, they scored the first goal and thats about all they could do.

When is the next match-up between these two? I would love to catch a nice early line for Flu.

They looked really good to start the match but of course the conditions wore them out and they could no longer keep up with Quito.

I made some money on their 7-1 victory last time, but yesterday I hesitated taking them on the live when the score was 0-1 @ 2.50. I'm still banging my head about it ! Before I could finish deciding they scored their first goal and the odds went down to 1.57! Then I just said forget it.
Before the game started I wanted to go big on this one but the only thing that kept me from doing so was that Fluminense was so hot these last few weeks. I think they were something like 8-0! Oh well...
I read somewhere that Quito play at 9000m above sea level!

Not quite - even on the Everest it would take some efforts to install a 9000m high playing field.
I've actually made my smallish Quito bet some days earlier at 1.8 - however, all serious bookies even then offered only ~1.7. I hoped that the big name Flu would sometimes give more decent odds again, but - alas - there was obviously too much smart money on LDU.

Fluminense get stung by LDU again.
