Couldn't believe it at first, but this is genuine footage, watched the highlights last night on tv.

So the ref must be an Ajax fan

    Cheers DarkHorse.

Ref explained later that he was happy he'd allowed play to go on after an Ajax player was fouled.

I've never seen anything like that. In any sport, ever.

Wow that is incredible. I would imagine he'll face some discipline for that one.
I have a friend who is a FIFA official. I'm curious to see what his take is.

That's hilarious. Okay, so he was happy he let play go on (because it meant an eventual goal in a game on which he had a wager . . .)

I believe so. He came to Ajax midway through last season and immediately saved their season (by winning a CL spot). The big surprise in Holland was that van Basten didn't select KJH for the Dutch national team in the World Cup. At the start of this season the new Ajax coach also seemed to underappreciate KJH and put him on the bench. But he's back in full force, doing what he does best; putting the ball in the net. Just a matter of time before he's off to Italy, Spain, or England. That's seems to be the fate of Ajax these days.

I still can't believe this one from the Ajax match lol. At least Tim Donaghy from the NBA never jumped up and down pumping his fists with a huge smile on his face after his team covered. This clip is a classic...
