#775To be honest, this is the first season I have really tried heavily to be involved in Soccer. I made spot bets on some matches in the past and felt like I had a decent amount of success, so figured I'd try my hand at it. Baseball is listed on my spreadsheet, about 54% winning for the season. Football, I feel like I should be better, but I'm 50% or less early on. Hopefully I can turn it around. I think my favorite sport and maybe one of my best is college basketball. Really, in general, totals seem to be my thing more so than sides.Comment -

#777Play #127: [Belgium Jupiler Pro League] Cercle Brugge vs. Mechelen OVER 2.5/3 (-105)
You've got two squads here that combine to average 3.63 goals offensively per match, while conceding an average of 3.38 goals. Brugge scores & yields 1.75 goals per match. Mechelen averages 1.88 goals per match, while conceding 1.63. 4 home matches for Brugge have averaged 4 goals per match, while 4 away matches for Mechlen have averaged 3.25 goals. All four Brugge matches at home have hit for 3 or more & Mechlen's four away matches have done the same. Brugge has scored at least a goal in every league match this season, while Mechelen has been held scoreless twice in 7 tries. Stats would indicate that Brugge should score and their leaky defense at home should yield one as well. With Brugge getting to 3 goals or more in 75%of their 8 league matches & Mechlen hitting even better at 84% in 7 of 8, this one seems a solid shot to at least get the half stakes win.

#778Not big on sides for Monday, but AIK at -280 in the Swedish Allsvenskan seems like a good one for a parlay if you like a 2nd choice somewhere else. Just a thought.

#779EP for the parlay I would say Man U CIty & AIK. Just not much value on them.
Maybe parlay the over on that Man U City game as well?Comment -

#782Play #128: [LIVE BETTING] Manchester City/West Ham OVER 2.5 (+105)
Don't know if this will hit, but I literally clicked to make the wager when the first goal hit the back of the net. Didn't think I would get it in before they changed the line, but it did. Now, I wait.

#791Play #129: [Champions League] Rubin Kazan vs. Inter Milan OVER 2/2.5 (-111)
This is a hunch play, so keep that in mind with whatever you choose to do. Kazan plays a fairly open game, so I expect them not to sit back and wait. That could help Inter Milan with some counter attacks. I think Inter is going to concede in this match, so if they want the win, they'll need to bang home two in my opinion.Comment -

#792EaglesPhan36,
I agree with you on the Over in the Inter game. I did a $1 play:
4-teamer:
Kazan/Inter OVER 2.5 +110
Barcelona/Kiev 1H draw +215
Rangers/Sevilla 1H draw +100
Standard Liege +300
$1 to win $52.Comment -

#795Play #130: [1/2 unit Champions League UNDER Parlay] Liverpool-Fiorentina (2.5), Debreceni/Lyon (3), Glasgow/Sevilla (2.5)
Liverpool and Fiorentina should be a good battle, but both have been solid on defense, especially the Italians at home in Serie A where they have yet to concede a goal in 5 matches. For Lyon, they have the weapons to score, but on the road, I believe that they will being playing cat & mouse with Debreceni. The Hungarian side has been very stingy in CL qualis + the Liverpool result (1-0 loss). Glasgow Rangers are in a goal strife right now with just 3 goals in their last 5 competitive matches. They are super stingy defensively though with 3 clean sheets in that same span. They played a scoreless draw in CL qualis, a 3 goal total on the road & then a 1-1 draw vs. Stuttgart on the road. Sevilla certainly has the quality to win this one, but their own defense has not yielded a goal in their last 4 competitive matches, including a 2-0 win in their last CL match.

#796EaglesPhan36,
What do you think of my $1 play? I know the chances of a 1H draw in the Barca game don't look good, but it's feasible once Messi and/or Ibra fail to score in the 1H.Comment -

#797Play #131: [Champions League] Standard Liege +0.5/ +1 (-141)
Liege seems to be the popular upset pick today, but I am going to be a little conservative here. I do believe they have a tremendous shot to beat a struggling AZ side, even on the road - however, I am going to protect myself from the draw by laying the higher price here as well because I think that the draw is always a possibility. AZ could potentially right themselves, but even so, don't see them getting by with a margin larger than one goal which would at worst give me just a half stakes loss.Comment -

#798Why not Wilforth?! I think as you marked it - the Barca one looks to be the make or break one as the others seem pretty solid - if someone can get a goal here in the Milan match, that red card might be trouble.Comment -

#799Play #132: [Champions League] The Great Vineyard (Total Goals) UNDER 22.5 (-123)
This is for the 7 matches just about to start. I mostly thought UNDER today, so trying this for shits & grins. If Liverpool, Lyon, Arsenal & Stuttgart go UNDER - should have a shot. I also am against the grain in that I think the Barca match will be 3 or less. That could be the key one.

#803Play #133: [Champions League] CSKA Moscow vs. Besiktas UNDER 2.5 (-117)
The Russians head into this match with solid home play where they have allowed just 8 goals in 10 home matches in Premier League action. They have kept clean sheets in 4 of their last 6 on home pitch. Couple that with Besiktas going scoreless in their last 5 competitive matches and this one could be headed for a tight 1-0, 2-0 finish in favor of the Russians most likely. In 6 matches in the Turkish Super League, Besiktas matches have hit UNDER 2 in 5 of 6, the lone exception being against offensive juggernaut Galatasaray. In their last CL match, CSKA lost 3-1 to Wolfsburg, which is a little misleading as the Germans got a PK goal to take a 2-0 lead at the half. The match went scoreless then until the 77th minute when CSKA struck and then Wolfsburg added a late tally as Grafite hit the hat trick. Besiktas did a great defensive job on Manchester United, but finished messy to lose 1-0 at home. With Besiktas struggling to score and likely to be without a couple of starters, they may choose to play a bit defensively on the road with the hope of taking a point.

#804Play #134: [Champions League] Manchester United vs. Wolfsburg OVER 2.5/3 (-145)
Start with Wolfsburg which has seen totals of 3 or more in 8 straight since they began German Bundesliga play. They are averaging 2.6 goals over their last 5, while conceding 10 (2 per match) in that same span. Man U. has tallied 11 goals in their last 5, while conceding just 4. With Wolfsburg having defensive deficiencies, Manchester United should be able to put up multiple goals and they seem likely to hit the scoresheet offensively as well. 3 seems a great possibility with 4 or more goals for the full stakes a solid shot IMO.

#805Play #135: [Champions League] F.C. Porto/Atletico Madrid OVER 2.5 (+100)
Gut play here. Porto has some offensive quality and Atletico had a horrible defense. Since beginning competitive play this summer in the Champions League, Atletico had yielded 15 goals in 8 matches. At home, they have been capable in CL play with no goals yielded in two matches, but they gave up 2 to Greek side, Panathinaikos in a 3-2 win. Porto has tallied 7 goals in three home league matches, torching lesser defenses for multiple goals. Atletico has solid offensive talent as well, tallying 6 goals in their last 3 matches overall. I like both teams to score and one or the other (Porto likely) could get that second goal or more in to cash this. Worth a shank!
