The Wolves continue to have struggles scoring the ball with just 2 goals in 4 Premier League matches this season. Their totals have hit 2 or less in all 4 matches. Blackburn has been just as hapless offensively with just 1 goal in 3 Premier League matches. They have conceded 4 goals in those three matches. Nah. Floodgates have been open in the Premier League matches today. This one looked OK at the half, but Blackburn busted out early in the 2nd half for a couple and it was done.

Siena's first two league matches have hit totals of 3 or more with Siena scoring 4 and yielding 3. Roma has found goals attached to their matches from Europa League matches into Serie A play. Roma was ripped 3-1 by Juventus in their last match. That came on the heels of losign to Genoa 3-2. Their D continues to be sketchy, but their offense does possess quality to put up goals every time out. With some shaky defensive performances thus far, it seems likely both teams can tally a goal with a solid likelihood that one of them gets a 2nd goal home - my guess would be, Roma.

Yeah, I had one too. Idaho gets a meaningless TD against Washington with 13 second left to cost me the cover by one point. It's painful but it goes both ways.

Randers is having trouble all-around, scoring less than one goal per league match this season, while conceding over 2 per match in their 7 matchs to date. Aalborg meanwhile is currently in 3rd place, just two points off the lead. They are 2-2 on the road with losses only to the two squads ahead of them on the table. Aalborg has won 4 of their last 5 in league play overall and plays some of the stingiest defense in the league, yielding just 0.43 goals per match. With Randers struggling to score and Aalborg having 5 clean sheets in 7 matches, it would look like if they get on the score sheet, they have a good shot of winning 1-0. Worst case scenario here I think is a draw if Aalborg sleepwalks through the match, so for even odds I'll take the split line to protect that result from a full stakes loss.

Nothing is ever east, just the two most likely outcomes for this one seem to be Aalborg for the straight up win or Randers steps up and grabs a draw. Aalborg has the best defense by the numbers so far with just three goals allowed and they actually score better on the road. That formula hopefully yields nothing worse than a draw.

That's the ONLY reason. I've been burned by such "easy" picks, especially when there's a significant line movement in favor of the public favorite shortly before the game. If I were to play it, I'd still do Aalborg, but it's a pass for me. I'm now doing:

I've been trying to wait for 4-5 matches in the leagues I don't know so well to figure out trends, etc. with the exception of the English Premier League & select Serie A matches in Italy where I know some of the team's forms from UEFA play. Good luck with the Aberdeen play brutha!
