The black players are normally the ones suspended or put off the team. I know of at least one good football and basketball player who were put of the team for violating school policy.

2% of the student body isn't mormon - but are still expected (obviously) to abide by the strict code of conduct (no premarital sex etc) - but obviously not the missions.

Up until 1978 black mormons couldn't get into heaven - except as servants.

You have to live by the honor code which means the black guys can't have sex. If they have sex with a white girl, forget about it. Winning is more important than religion but there is only so much you can take.

BYU gets a lot of non mormons because it's one the best value schools in terms of tuition for the education in the nation.

Don't know how the black athletes do it. Can't touch the white girls, and still gotta take that dumb oath. I'd say F it and play for an FCS school instead if I had no other outs. Weber St is down the road, has the same level of poon, and none of the goofy Mormon stuff. Lots of Jack Mormons out there too, girls who aren't down with the religion so much anymore, and they're like un-caged lions.

The BAD news is that Davies got suspended from BYU. The GOOD news is the girl went to Arizona State and she got extra credit!
