I don't expect to win these -- just throw them together for fun every once in a while.

This is just the essence of a parlay -- always one game short. I've hit plenty in my time, up to a 7-teamer. But for every one I hit, there are dozens like this one that fall just short.

Today wasn't the worst beat of all time - OT happens. You've posted numerous threads before about having parlays ruined by the same play, but keep on doing it in real -EV fashion, then complaining about it again.

If I played 10 games a day (thats about what you play right?), you I'd bet I'm going to cop a beat I can whinge about in at least one of them. I don't though, because its part of gambling. I also have winners that I think I get lucky in too - e.g. yesterdays Thunder meltdown was offset by the Astros last innings miracle. I looked at your thread - you would have had that too if you hadn't bet the Dodgers by accident.... As for the other losses, blowing 1 run leads in the 8th and 9th is hardly groundbreaking stuff. That's why closers are paid millions to pitch 10 pitches a game (if all goes well).

"whinge" = complaining about losing. No one else makes a thread about it every time they have a bad day. I don't want to argue semantics.

I meant that the losses are offset as far as the games go. Astros and Thunder are 1-1 on strange finishes for me from yesterday. Win some, lose some like that - no need to go on about it. I'm not here to be a dynamite, but i'm starting to agree with a few (limited) points he makes.

Gee, No Coincidences never mentions his lucky wins, only his lucky losses. You made a point that i been saying many times already. He made some post like he was 3-3 with two games losing by 1 run. Yet he never mentions the 2 games he won by 1 run

He is the typical sore winner and sore loser depending on whether he wins or loses.
