        Sunday 25th October

Desperately unlucky not to land the 20/1 over 2.5 match goal accca yesterday where we just needed one more goal in the Shrewsbury vs Bury game where there were 36 attempts in total (22 of those went to Bury) and the game only finished 2-0 to the home side... but thats football! Back to single selections today and hopefully some more winners.

        .
MANCHESTER UNITED VS MANCHESTER CITY (English Premier League 2.05)
BOURNEMOUTH VS TOTTENHAM (English Premier League 2.05)
BORUSSIA DORTMUND VS AUGSBURG (German Bundesliga 2.30)
        .
        MANCHESTER UNITED VS MANCHESTER CITY

No better place to start today then the Manchester derby with two sides who are both in great form. A good point away from home in Russia midweek for the home side drawing one all against a decent CSKA side and probably should of won in my opinion. Manchester City left it late against Seville but managed to get the all important three points with a late Kevin De Bruyne strike. Manchester United have been in rampant form at home this season winning their last four and scoring eleven goals along the way and conceding just two (which were against Wolfsburg and Liverpool). Minus City's blip away to Tottenham they have also won their last four away matches scoring nine and conceding just two in those victories. With the fire power on offer today i have to side with a favourite bet of mine and when i looked at it i couldn't believe it was priced odds in favour. BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE & OVER 2.5 MATCH GOALS is my selection in this game at 11/10. The home sides last four have finished with three or more goals, exactly the same as the away side and with the last five derbies finishing 4-2, 1-0, 0-3, 4-1 and 1-2 I'm hoping for more of the same goal mouth action today! Both teams posses the attacking flair to score at any minute and although both sides have decent defensive records, they've shown at least once this season that it can fall apart at the back pretty easily... With all this said i think my selection today is a safe option at, in my opinion generous odds! My prediction - 2-2
        .
BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE & OVER 2.5 MATCH GOALS - 11/10

        BOURNEMOUTH VS TOTTENHAM
Tottenham travel to Bournemouth today looking for their first victory in four games, with three draws against Liverpool, Swansea and Monaco and a midweek loss to Anderlecht in the Europa League. Bournemouth have also won just won in their last four games and that needed to go to extra time against Championship side Preston North End, losses to Stoke and Man City in the league along with a draw at home to Watford make up their other three remaining games. Today I'm going to side with Tottenham to get the win at 5/4. The contrast in teams played between the two is somewhat of a difference (bar Man City - who Spurs beat 4-1 at the end of last month) and with Tottenham playing the much better sides and still picking up points i just think they willl be too good for an injury plagued Bournemouth. With Tottenham's great defensive record this season and the likes of Kane and Eriksen in their side i think they will prevail. It will be a tight game but i can see a 0-1 or 0-2 victory here today for the away side who are yet to lose away from home this season winning one and drawing two.
        TOTTENHAM TO WIN - 6/5

        BORUSSIA DORTMUND VS AUGSBURG
Over to Germany for a game between free scoring Dortmund and free conceding Augsburg! Dortmund have been in great form this season, especially a home winning four out of their last five and drawing the other one. They have scored 17 goals in their last five home games and conceded six so they are also vulnerable at the back at times! Augsburg have struggled this season only picking up five points from a possible twenty seven and currently sit bottom of the Bundesliga. They won midweek against AZ Alkmaar away from home in the Europa League and their last league game held Bayer Leverkusen to a 1-1 draw so seem to be showing signs of improvement but i just can't see them having anywhere near the resources to stop such an in form team right now. With Dortmund unbackable at 1/5 I've decided to opt with DORTMUND TO WIN & OVER 3.5 MATCH GOALS. There is two reasons I've gone for this selection today... Dortmund's free scoring form at home where they average three goals every home game and i think Augsburg might just sneak a goal. Dortmund have conceded eleven goals in their nine league games this season amnd conceding six in theri last five home games give's Augsburg a decent chance of finding the net tonight just like they did against Leverkusen and AZ (two decent teams!) in their last two away matches. Dortmund should cruise to victory in this, it just depends on how many goals they want to score! My prediction - 4-1 Dortmund!

BROUSSIA DORTMUND TO WIN & OVER 3.5 MATCH GOALS - 11/10
        OVER 9 MATCH CORNERS - 21/20

AIK STOCKHOLM VS GOTEBORG (Sweden Allsvenskan 6.05)
RANDERS VS ODENSE (Denmark Superliga 6.00)

          AIK STOCKHOLM VS GOTEBORG
Not a lot of games to choose from today but i think I've found some value in two games above. We start off in Sweden where 2nd place AIK take on 3rd place Goteborg. With two games left of the season (this is one of them) both teams can still win the title with AIK three points behind the leaders Norrkoping who are on 63 points but have played a game more Goteborg four points behind on 59. Both teams will need to win tonight if they are to have any chance of lifting the title come next week so we are in for a great game this evening. AIK are yet to lose at home this season playing fourteen games, winning thirteen and drawing one so a really impressive record, Goteborg would prefer to be playing this 'all to play for' tie at home as they have a much better home record with their away record being fourteen games played, seven wins, five draws and two losses so based on home and away records this should go to AIK but with the stakes so high its tough to call. What catches my eye is although AIK have a great home record and have won their last nine, they have conceded at least one in seven of those games with a total of twelve conceded. Goteborg have scored in eight of their last nine away games so this being said i think both teams will score tonight and one early goal will open this game up with the stakes so high. My main selection is going to be BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE & OVER 2.5 MATCH GOALS at 11/10, AIK have had this outcome in seven of their last nine home matches and Goteborg six in their last nine so hopefully tonight will follow trend. I also think with AIK's great home record with thirteen victories from fourteen and knowing a victory tonight will put them joint top i think they will win so I'm going to have a little saver bet on home win. My prediction - 2-1 AIK
BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE & OVER 2.5 MATCH GOALS - 11/10
AIK STOCKHOLM TO WIN - 7/5

          RANDERS VS ODENSE
Across Scandinavia to Denmark for a Superliga clash between 6th place Randers and 9th place Odense. Both teams are in a bit of a mixed vain of form at the moment with the home side winning two and losing three in their last five league games and the away side has a similar record with the same outcome. Randers have a decent enough home record with just two losses in six games with one of those coming from second side and Europa League representatives Midtjlland. Odense's away record is reversed with just the two victories in six away matches this season with one of them coming in their last Superliga match beating 7th place side Nordsjaelland 1-5! Again, I'm siding with selections in the goal market and I'm opting with the same selection as the Swedish game above - BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE AND OVER 2.5 MATCH GOALS at 13/10. Odense have been involved in nine games (out of twelve) this season with three or more goals and are averaging 3.67 match goals per game. Randers are averaging 3 goals per game and have seen seven out of their twelve league ties finish with three or more goals in so we should get more of the same here tonight. My prediction - Randers to win 3-1
BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE & OVER 2.5 MATCH GOALS - 13/10

BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE DOUBLE ON THE TWO ABOVE GAMES - 2/1

EVERTON VS NORWICH (Capital One Cup 7.45)
HULL VS LEICESTER (Capital One Cup 7.45)
MILLWALL VS DONCASTER (England League One 7.45)

            EVERTON VS NORWICH
Both Everton and Norwich meet here in the last sixteen of the Capital One Cup on the back of two defeats in a row. Norwich have conceded eleven goals in their last four games and their defence is looking very shaky at the moment, especially after losing 6-2 away to Newcastle. Everton can sort of be let off as their last five home games have been against Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, Man City and Watford so they will be glad to see the back of the 'big' teams! I can see Everton winning this one, i think they will both put out strong teams as this competition is probably their only realistic chance of winning a trophy this season and with the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City still in the competition it's still going to be a big ask for either Norwich or Everton to lift the cup. In seven of Norwich's ten premier league games this season there has been three or more goals scored and I'm expecting the same tonight. Both teams know how to score and both know how to concede with Everton scoring on average over one goal a game and conceding on average just under two a game and Norwich scoring 1.6 goals on average every away game and conceding 2.6 away from home we should see plenty of goals tonight! My prediction - 3-2 Everton

EVERTON TO WIN & OVER 2.5 MATCH GOALS - 7/5
            BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE & OVER 2.5 - 11/10

            HULL VS LEICESTER
Championship side Hull host surprise package of the Premier League so far, Leicester who currently sit 5th in the league only three points behind leaders Manchester City. A lot of their success this season is down to in form striker Jamie Vardy who has racked up ten goals already this season! Hull are sitting pretty in second in the Championship and are being tipped for promotion back to the Premiership after a season out and they themselves have an in form striker in Abel Hernandez who has scored seven goals this season. This is a tough game to call in my opinion with Hull yet to lose at home in the league this season winning five and drawing two from seven games. With it being tough to call (if Leicester bring their A game i think they have enough quality to win this) i have to side with the goals market once again and some pretty generous odds are on offer in my opinion considering how many goals have been scored and conceded in Leicester City games this season. Their last five away games have finished with a total of 17 goals in averaging well over three a game, they have scored ten of those goals and conceded the other seven with all five games finishing with both teams to score. Their two previous games in the Capital Once Cup this season seen a total of eight goals also. Hull City have an impressive record at home like i said earlier but they also have an impressive goal scoring record racking up thirteen goals in seven home games in the Championship. If we was basing it on form and stats we should see both teams scoring tonight plus a few more goals so this is my selections for tonight...
            .
BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE & OVER 2.5 MATCH GOALS - 6/5

            MILLWALL VS DONCASTER
Doncaster who sit in 22nd place in League one and have struggled badly this season with just fourteen points from fourteen games travel to an in form Millwall side who have won their last three home games and four out of their last five. Doncaster have a contrast in form losing four of their last five away games conceding twelve in the process. Millwall are just three points off the play offs and although other teams around them will have a game in hand they will see it as points on the board are better than games in hand if they were to get victory tonight.I can't see anythingbut a home win here with the contrast in form and recent results, I can see their being plenty of goals also. Millwall games this season have averaged 3.2 goals, the third highest in the league. Doncaster's record is not so high but still showing an average of 2.2 per game and their away record for goals conceded is over 2 per game. We should be in store for plenty of goal mouth action with the majority going to the home side. My prediction - Millwall 3-1

MILLWALL TO WIN & OVER 2.5 MATCH GOALS - 13/8

LIVERPOOL VS BOURNEMOUTH (Capital One Cup 7.45)
MANCHESTER CITY VS CRYSTAL PALACE (Capital One Cup 7.45)
              SOUTHAMPTON VS ASTON VILLA
              (Capital One Cup 7.45)

              LIVERPOOL VS BOURNEMOUTH

Liverpool host Bournemouth in this last sixteen Capital Once Cup tie and should be more confident in the victory than the away side. Five draws in their last five games for Liverpool but on paper it doesn't look that bad with three of those draws coming against Everton, Tottenham (both away) and Southampton at home so a good three points in my opinion considering the transition happening at the club. Bournemouth have been really struggling as of late and have lost their last two games by the same score line of 5-1 albeit against two in form sides in the shape of Tottenham and Manchester City. I'm going to go with the recent results and go for goals in this game and my selection is - OVER 3.5 MATCH GOALS at 13/8. There has been a total of seven goals in Liverpool's last five home games and although that doesn't seem like a lot, they have scored and conceded in every one of them showing that there could be goals tonight either end! Bournemouth have conceded twelve and scored five in their last four away games and four out of their last five away games have finished with four or more goals. I think Bournemouth have the ability to trouble the Liverpool defence tonight which has shown faults already this season and Liverpool posses the fire power to get at least two or three here tonight against a very shaky and fragile defence. My prediction - 3-1 Liverpool

              OVER 3.5 MATCH GOALS - 13/8

              MANCHESTER CITY VS CRYSTAL PALACE

Manchester City host Crystal Palace this evening and going by the first game the home side played in this seasons Capital One Cup it looks like they're taking it seriously this year (maybe Pellegrini feeling the pressure!). They thrashed Sunderland at the stadium of light that night 4-1 and apart from their blip against Spurs a couple of weeks ago, they have looked impressive every since sitting top of the pile in the Premiership. Crystal Palace have enjoyed a good start to the season currently occupying 7th place in the league and a good 4-1 victory over Charlton in the previous round to progress to this tie this evening with them also fielding a strong side. Manchester City have conceded in each of their last five away games but scored a total of fifteen and i think it will be more of the same here tonight.Crystal Palace have scored in three of their last five away games and scored a total of eight goals already in their two Capital Cup One ties they have played to progress. I do believe Alan Pardew will think this is Palace's best chance of lifting a trophy and with Man City concentrating on the Champions League, the league and the FA Cup there could be an upset on the cards tonight. In the league Palace average a match total of 2.3 goals where as City average a match total of 3.2 and with both sides likely to field their strongest eleven (their league side) then i cant see this game being any different and not living up to the stats.

BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE & OVER 2.5 MATCH GOALS - 21/20

              SOUTHAMPTON VS ASTON VILLA

Tim Sherwood has just become the latest manager casualty in the Premiership after being sacked on Saturday after losing their home tie to Swansea 2-1. Aston Villa will travel to Southampton without a permanent manager and things could get a lot worse down on the south coast this evening! Just three wins from twelve games in all competitions so far this season for Villa with two of those victories coming against Birmingham and Notts County in the two previous rounds of the competition, you have to go back to the first game of the season for their other victory against Bournemouth at Villa Park. Southampton are the complete opposite, they have played fifteen competitive games so far (with Europa league qualification) and have only lost three times with those defeats coming to Manchester United, Everton and Midtjylland. Both teams will want to progress tonight with this competition being the only one both sides will get a chance of winning (unless they have a good run in the FA Cup) but i can't see anything over than a home win. The Villa players confidence must be as low as you can get and they will not like this trip down to Southampton on cold, wet, Wednesday night. With Southampton un-backable at 1/2 and with their six competitive home games this season finishing with a total of twenty one goals I'm going to side with SOUTHAMPTON TO WIN & OVER 2.5 MATCH GOALS at 6/5. Five of their last six home games have finished with three or more goals and with three out of Villa's last four away games finishing with three or more goals and them being on the losing side each time i think this has a great chance of landing for us here. I'm also going to back SOUTHAMPTON TO SCORE IN BOTH HALVES at 5/4. I honestly think if Southampton can score early this could turn into a rout and i would fully expect the home side to score in the second half. They have scored 40% of their goals this season in the first half also. My prediction 3-1 Southampton

SOUTHAMPTON TO SCORE IN BOTH HALVES - 5/4

Not much to choose from today but i think Ive found some value in one game which is being played this evening.

LEEDS UNITED VS BLACKBURN (English Championship 7.45)

Both teams here are in dire form at the moment with just one win between them in their last five games, that was Blackburn picking up three points against Ipswich at Ewood Park at the start of October. I watched Blackburn on Saturday when they hosted Burnley and they looked really threatening, they just couldn't find the net and Burnley come out victorious by one goal which didn't tell the whole story. Blackburn's last five away games have resulted in them only picking up two points, a decent two points as they were playing Hull and QPR, losses to MK Dons, Fulham and Brighton make up the remaining fixtures. Leeds have lost their last three home games on the bounce against Brighton, Ipswich and Birmingham and two draws in September to Sheffield Wednesday and Brentford make up their remaining home fixtures. With two sides in such bad form but both conceding goals and scoring them this game could be anything. I can see goals here and the last five meetings between the two sides at Elland Road can back me up. There has been a total of 17 match goals in this fixture averaging over 3 every time the two clubs meet, two wins for Blackburn, one for Leeds and two draws. There has been ten goals in total in Leeds' last five home games averaging two per game and thirteen in Blackburn's last five away games with Blackburn scoring four of them. With lads like Jordan Rhodes and Tom Lawrence in their side Blackburn are more than capable of scoring against a shaky Leeds defence and the same goes for Leeds with powerhouse Chris Wood and Italian forward Antenucci troubling the Rovers backline. My prediction - 2-2

BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE & OVER 2.5 MATCH GOALS -7/5

                  BRENTFORD VS QPR
                  (English Championship 7.45)

A London derby to kick things off tonight with an in form Brentford team hosting an inconsistent QPR side. Brentford are looking for their fourth win in as many games tonight after victories against Charlton, Wolves and Rotherham. They are slowly creeping up the table after a bad start to their Championship campaign picking up just eight points in their first ten games. QPR have two wins, two losses and a draw in their last five Championship games and you never know what team is going to turn up with them, a 4-0 hammering at the hands of Fulham was soon forgotten when they themselves put four past Bolton Wanderers and then followed that with a 2-1 loss to Birmingham. The only thing that has been consistent with QPR this season is goals. They are the Championships top goal scorers and have the leagues second worst defensive record with 22 goals conceded. I don't see why there wouldn't be goals tonight and i think we will be in for a very entertaining game this evening. Both teams average three or more match goals a game with Brentford exactly three and QPR a massive 3.4, the highest in the Championship. Brentford have seen a total of 15 goals in their last six championship games and QPR 19 so we should be in for a thrilling game here where these two clubs meet for the first time since 2004. I expect goals, cards (Brentford have had 29 yellows and one red already this season with QPR recieving 19 yellows and one red) and drama!!

RENNES VS PSG (French Ligue One 7.30)

PSG travel to Rennes tonight hoping to maintain their unbeaten record in the league so far this season with nine victories from eleven games and two draws. Rennes currently sit 7th in the league just two points off a top four spot so this wont be easy for the current French champions tonight. It seems like a good time to be playing the home side for PSG though as they have not won a game in their last five league games drawing four and losing one where as PSG have won their last five and won convincingly! What Rennes have been doing consitently is scoring goals, they have scored in their last five league games and have also conceded with at least two match goals being scored in each game. PSG have scored two or more in each of their last five league games so i think maybe a 1-2 or 1-3 scoreline is on the cards tonight as i believe Rennes do have the firepower to trouble the PSG defence (which will be missing David Luiz tonight) and of course we ll know about PSG's attacking threat! This fixture between the two teams has produced goals with five out of the last six meetings finishing with two or more goals in and three finishing with three or more goals in. PSG games have seen an average of 2.8 goals per game this season whilst Renne's matches have seen an average of 2.5 so hopefully we will get more of the same tonight! My prediction - 1-2 PSG

PSG TO WIN & OVER 2.5 MATCH GOALS - 11/8
BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE & OVER 2. MATCH GOALS - 6/4
