What do you guys think I have in the past got the basic bit not real sure if its worth it. Most of the time their 5* winners I saw lost. Curious what others have experienced.

The give good information but their picks are 50/50 at best most years. For the past few years, Phil Steele has tracked a number of newsletters, Gold Sheet being one of them. That is why I know their records from the past.
