Mostly it's elderly people over the age of 75 who get pneumonia which started from the flu. the flu does not kill 200K a year in the USA. one year, the 2016/17 season, it killed 80K, but that was an aberration. it is typically 20K to 50K per year. the true cause of death is pneumonia which developed from the flu. the flu did not kill them - something worse did.
but get this: COVID-19 is hospitalizing and killing people under the age of 60 !!
when was the last time you heard of someone being hospitalized by the Flu who was under the age of 60 ???
and put on a respirator of which only 20% survive and 80% die !!!!!!
