I'm hoping someone from SBR will see this post and kindly help me out. I am still owed approximately $700.00 for my airfare to IFBC as promised to me and the other raffle winners. We were initially told we'd receive cash on Saturday at the conference and then that was later changed to a promise to be paid via PayPal on Saturday. At the conference, the timeline was changed again to Monday. Now I am being told I might need to wait until Friday. Can someone please take care of mine today? Or could you possibly just PayPal me $300.00 of it now and I'll wait for the rest? Due to a boneheaded mistake whereby I lost my main credit card in Mexico City last week, I really need the promised reimbursement today. I have a PayPal debit card and was planning on receiving my funds yesterday and completing my trip home to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. As it stands now, I'm stranded in Mexico City with no funds for a hotel or a bus ticket home. I have access to other funds when I get home, but I'm really screwed at the moment. Can someone at SPR please help me out?

Yeah, I'm sure everyone will call me a broke loser or whatever. It's not like I don't have money at all. I just don't have access to it at the moment. I have no doubt that SBR will come through; I'm just hoping they can expedite mine, as I was promised that I'd receive it yesterday.

They did send me a new one but to my address in SMA. Perhaps I can have them send another one to me here, but that doesn't solve the immediate problem. There's no such thing as international overnight, at least as far as I know.

I don't know. All I know is that I and the 4 other raffle winners were promised free airfare. There were some other drawing winners who are supposed to get it as well.

You say "main" credit card, why don't you just use another card or your debit card?

So, you signed up for a free trip, figured you'd get the cash at the conference, but now you are up and stranded without a pot to piss in? Even Wells Fargo will let you make an AtM withdrawal without a card. One stop into a bank fixes this quite easily.
