Politics at the height of a human tragedy is disgraceful. I don’t give a damn who the president is or what party that person is from. It’s pitiful, it’s weak and it’s divisive and does no good for the public.

As for the crash, they are still recovering bodies but you can bet that they know the cause or causes. There is usually more than one .
They knew this morning but unlike posting where if we are wrong, we just drift away a day or two and it’s on to the next topic, the people in charge have a responsibility to the families and the public to get this right and be absolutely sure that it is right. They will and we will be informed as soon as possible I’m sure. In the mean time, maybe call your family or friends and say hi.
We never know folks.

I think he mis-stepped on his words. Air-Traffic Controller is known to be one of the most stressful jobs. One needs an intellect in the top 2% (minimum) to perform that job responsibility well.

He does like a buffoon to try to mix standards with skin color. It's a tragic event, and the bodies are still warm.

It appears as though the chopper pilot made a mistake. He was asked if he had visual on the plane and he said he did but he was looking at another plane, not the one he hit.

I just read the comment below. If that's true, then it's really sad and Trump wasn't wrong even though his timing was bad.

Last April a lawsuit involving over 1000 applicants was filed against the FAA. Otherwise qualified candidates who had sucessfully completed training and test scores who were left behind based SOLELY on the fact that their hiring would NOT advance the great social engineering experiment. I believe it was the other way. Helicopter hits plane on descent approach for landing. Don't think the plane tried to hit the helicopter. You can see it in the video.

I don't work for Gov, so I don't know how the DEI thing is affecting the work place but I do know one thing.

My sister-in-law worked in Pentagon in the IT department and she retired early before 60 because she was fed up watching people move up before her when they weren't more qualified than her but just because they got the check marks in the right places. Not only that, DEI hires in upper management were advancing more DEI's instead of people who were more qualified.

It's nothing more than reverse racism which is sad.

I would be infuriated if that shit happened in my work place. The merit based is the only way.

I'm not a MAGA fan as I'm an Asian who is a naturalized US citizen. I like this country but not the way it's going at over 33 trillion in debt. How in the world was that even allowed to get that high?

CA allowing thieves to walk if not stealing over $1,000? Thank God that they repealed that shit at least.

It happened all over the federal gov..... Positions left unfilled because only one "person" applied...who was qualified... so lower the standards and instead put "ability to acquire the knowledge". happend multiple times....

I will say I don't even know how much blame Trump shares here or if it's a random, tragic accident, but the timing is very damning. And the reality is if you replaced Trump with Biden and all the other details and actions were the same, the Trumpers on here would 100% be tearing Biden to shreds. There is not a single doubt about it. I hope some people can at least have the self-awareness to realize that and reflect upon it.
