#5952As of right now TFG has zero events on his public schedule. No rallies, no speeches, no nothing. And it’s not a temporary thing. At the same time he was holding his last hate rally, his handlers leaked to the media that they were going to sharply cut back on the number of rallies and in-person appearances he was going to make.<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Save America<a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/DilleyMemeTeam?src=hash&ref_src=twsr c%5Etfw">#DilleyMemeTeam</a> <a href="https://t.co/6JYxgF1Y8M">pic.twitter.com/6JYxgF1Y8M</a></p>— drefanzor memes (@drefanzor) <a href="https://twitter.com/drefanzor/status/1771566454753607848?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw" >March 23, 2024</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>Comment -

#5953Trump wins again. I guess he'll be able to keep his buildings after all.. Dems fail again in the courts today!
A New York appeals court on Monday agreed to hold off collection of former President Donald Trump’s more than $454 million civil fraud judgment if he puts up $175 million within 10 days. If Trump does, it will stop the clock on collection and prevent the state from seizing the presumptive Republican presidential nominee's assets while he appeals. The appeals court also halted other aspects of a trial judge's ruling that had barred Trump and his sons Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., the family company's executive vice presidents, from serving in corporate leadership for several years.

At the same time he was holding his last hate rally, his handlers leaked to the media that they were going to sharply cut back on the number of rallies and in-person appearances he was going to make.
TFG’s handlers used campaign finance constraints as an excuse. But it was obvious that they were pulling the plug becausehe is now so dementia-riddled, his political prospects are more harmed by him being out there than by not being out there.
The real question here is why the media seems to be ignoring this story entirely. The media was finally just starting to belatedly and reluctantly start to cover his worsening dementia. And now that he is disappearing from the campaign trail because of his dementia, the media seems… uninterested.

I guess win in your last 60 or so court cases, you only won about 4, you will take almost anything as a win.

#5959Never would have thought that posting a 175 million bond and still being on the hook for almost a 1/2 billion as a win.

#5960the bond has to be placed in order to appeal this bullshit ruling by the corrupt AG and Judge. There is no basis for this suit except for blatant election interference. You, of all people, claim to be all for equal justice but when it comes down to anything Trump, all of that moral high ground goes right out the window.
Moral high ground? What I believe is, if you accuse someone of a crime, bring all evidence to court, and let's get to the bottom of it. Under oath with consequence for lying if caught, not in the media or on the internet where everyone just thinks they know everything.Comment -

#5961He will probably get out of it like he always has. A person would like to think that justice catches up to all eventually, but Trump is the best at, skating it that I ever saw.

Do you think if you bought a pair of ruby slippers for $40 and the same pair of ruby slippers worn by Judy Garland in the Wizard of OZ would also be worth $40? What is that pair sold for $2 million? Why would you or any AG or judge care?
What did Trump do wrong except being Trump and calling out corrupt incompetent judges, AG's, politicians and media?
Any reasonable intellectually honest person can admit this is pure election interference designed to slow down Trump for the upcoming election.Comment -

#5963you keep saying that but what has he done? No trial. No Jury. No crime. No victims. The banks said they would gladly do business with the Trump corporation again anytime.

Here is one of the problems with your defense.
I bought the pair for 2 million. But told the tax man it was $20,000. Only paying tax on 1%.
I know property (LAND) is different, but this is what you used as an example.
Then I go to the bank and tell them they are worth 5 million and get a loan based on that. Knowing that is a overvalued price.
You have to take the good with the bad, you can't claim high when you want and then low ball when you want to. Especially when there is a paper trail.Comment -

#5964Trump is a dishonest cheat and has been for decades, he has not changed. Any reasonable intellectually honest person knows it, and can see it thru many years going back to at least the 1980's.

#5970From your very own liberal queen, Hareeba. God rest her soul....
In 2019, the Supreme Court determined for the very first time that the excessive fines' clause can be used to challenge state-court judgments.
In the majority opinion, the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg wrote, "For good reason, the protection against excessive fines has been a constant shield throughout Anglo-American history: Exorbitant tolls undermine other constitutional liberties."
"Excessive fines can be used, for example, to retaliate against or chill the speech of political enemies", she said.Comment -
