Find that one very hard to believe. If a tire fire could take the whole plane down then someone needs to be suing boeing into bankruptcy.

And like you said, why the altitude changes?

And why join the other flight corridor it followed if the pilot made a "Direct turn to the airports heading".

There was no direct turn heading straight for any airport based on information released. They turned left, went toward the other flight corridor and then made another left to follow that AFAIK.

I'd say the plane was flew into Pakistan. They killed the passengers. Now its sitting hidden somewhere waiting to be dispatched for a suicide attack.

Some of these terrorists organizations have lots of money. Why wouldnt they just buy their own planes and crash them at targets instead of hijacking them or stealing them?

Terrorists may have a lot of money, but not 777 money. The missing 777 is a 262 million dollar aircraft. Only way they're getting that is with some sort of government support..Iran, pakistan, etc. Boeing isn't just going to sell a bunch of 777's to some random dudes either. Lol. Red flags.. Unless your name is Richard Branson, Trump, etc.

                Nobody "buys" 777's anymore.
                It's all about the lease!
As long as the terrorist has good credit they could easily get a hold of an airliner.
                262 million OAC!

Yes I totally agree, but their lack of control from step 1 created this whole situation....they are completely clueless shooting from theory to theory....were taking about a plane full of people here...The US does play world police and situations like this just encourages it...

The media is just as bad as the Malaysians. They jump on any leaked info at all to run with a new theory. Latest being that the pilot deleted files from his flight simulator program about a month before this flight ... it's stupid, but when you have unsolved mysteries the media loves a good theory to show off.

Why would a veteran pilot need a flight simulator ?

Why would they say in good night in English in that part of the world ?

Are all flight communications to air traffic control done in English everywhere in the world ?

Who would be more likely to have a genuine interest in a home flight simulator? Imagine how many aviation nuts have a simulator setup? It isn't abnormal sounding at all.

And yes, English is the international language of flight controllers.

English also used to be the official language in Malaysia. Probably 75%+ of them still speak it daily. (well their version of it)

It's pretty much a conspiracy theorist's wet dream at this point and nothing more. Likely we are not going to know what happened for a long time if ever. I think by the end of the month if nothing new is learned/found that is concrete, this story will finally start slipping away.

In Electronic Warfare jargon, however, electronic countermeasure exists. ECM is an electrical or electronic device designed to trick or deceive radar, sonar or other detection systems, like infrared (IR) or lasers.

ECM can be used offensively and defensively to deny targeting information to an enemy.

The system can “make the real target appear to disappear or move about randomly. It is used effectively to protect aircraft from guided missiles.

“Most air forces use ECM to protect their aircraft from attack. It has also been deployed by military ships and recently on some advanced tanks to fool laser/IR guided missiles. It is frequently coupled with stealth advances so that the ECM systems have an easier job. Offensive ECM often takes the form of jamming. Defensive ECM includes using blip enhancement and jamming of missile terminal homers.”

Austin-based Freescale Semiconductor (NYSE:FSL) launched a major initiative dedicated to serving RF power needs of U.S. aerospace and defense (A&D) sector. It has a team of specialists dedicated to supporting defense customers.

Freescale confirmed yesterday that of the 239 passengers on Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, 20 are employed by the leading edge electronic company: twelve from Malaysia and eight from China.

The company’s key product solutions include those for electric vehicles, as this reporter highlighted yesterday:

Freescale’s commercial products meet requirements of applications such as:

Human rights regarding security and privacy, possibly terrorism

Evidence of terrorism and human rights related to security and privacy continue mounting regarding the jet with 239 people on board, less than an hour after leaving Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, bound for Beijing.

While everyone who boarded the plane are being investigated, four are under particular investigation. Two had stolen passports to board the now vanished Malaysia plane. They bought their tickets with two other people who boarded the plane and are also targets of the investigation. Now, ESP reports that the stolen passports may have been found.

A Chinese national, whose passport number was listed on the passenger manifest, did not board the plane, is still in China, and this individual’s passport was never stolen, China’s state media reported. The stolen passport carriers and the other two suspects have increased officials’ suspicions that the event is one of terrorism, officials say, but continue to stress that the event has not been declared a terrorist event.

Hishammuddin Hussein, who holds two ministerial positions, said that “the four names are with me,” added that the investigation was focusing on “the entire passenger manifest,” and said FBI investigators have joined the probe.

Names of all the passengers is on the manifest here.

Military radar indicated the plane possibly turned from its flight route before losing contact: “There is a distinct possibility the airplane did a turn-back, deviating from the course,” Malaysian air force chief General Rodzali Daud said Sunday, citing radar data but not revealing which direction the plane possibly took when it went off route.

Malaysia Airlines (MAS) chief executive Ahmad Jauhari Yahya said the Boeing 777′s systems would have set off alarm bells if it changed course.

That, however, is assuming electronic weaponry was not used.

Don't think a plane has spotted it yet. Several in the area now looking for items located by satellite.

Connect the dots. Not all Muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are Muslims. Hard to conceive the plane landing somewhere and nobody seeing it. Easy to conceive killing all on board and plunging the plane into the ocean.

It is quite plausible, based on the new technology that suggests the plane is in the Indian Ocean, that an airplane fire had occurred in the pilot's cockpit. The electrical components would have been switched off due to an electrical fire. After putting out the fire, the pilots struggled to control the plane manually, with no autopilot, no gauges, no communication available.

Perhaps they flew trying to find a safe place to land, but due to not having reliable instruments to guide them to an airport, they flew a heading in the general direction of a known airport. They missed it. They eventually run out of fuel and crash. Not terrorism. Not aliens.

Not some nefarious plot. Simply put, a fire.

As far as phone communications from passengers. They could have possibly not known there was a problem until much later, at which point they were out over the ocean. Guess what, I've never seen a cell phone tower out floating in the ocean.
