So yeah , I about drowned in the Mississippi River when I was 9 or 10

me my dad and brother were playing at the river , I was a bit more athletic than Preston

so my dad was closer to my brother when I was bobbing up and down in the water

and my ankle got caught on this snare like shit at the surface of the river

so there I am bobbing up in the water, then down below the surface to ground level

up and down when snag , so here I am literally drowning inches below where my outstretched

arms can break the water to alert for help . As you can tell , I of course lived . Here’s

how I survived . First instinct ,especially when your drowning and taking in water is to panic

so I wiggled about and got myself my caught in the snare of roots or whatever it was

Finally something overcame me and I became real calm , pulled myself down to where my

ankle was stuck and very precisely unwound that snare that I was drowning because of .

it took a while and the whole time I was sucking in bits of water . I got myself out and broke

the surface , my dad rushed over and helped . I actually took in so much dirty water

that it almost killed my over the next year of my life as I came down with a disease that

was parasites eating away at me . It was a form of amoeba I got from the water .

the doctors told my parents I was dying of cancer , thankfully we got lucky and found this doctor

that asked for a specific thing that got the ball rolling and he found the parasites origin

It fukked me up for a while but I came through

so that’s how I almost drowned at the Mississippi, we never swam in water you can’t see in from that day on
