Why? They all charge like a $1.50 "delivery charge" now...I used to tip 2 bucks but now I dont tip shit...if I tip the 50 cents to get up to 2 dollars I look like an asshole and Im not gonna tip 2 dollars bringing his tip to $3.50 just for bringin me a 10 dollar pizza...penetrate THAT!

The charges + tip to not get the penetrate to spit in your pizza is so high I think I may just do carryout for now on. Often times they have carryout specials, Mon-Wednesday here Domino's large 1 topping is 7.99 + .80 tax = 8.80 the same pizza delivered is 9.99 + 1 tax + 1.50 delivery fee + 2 bucks so they hopefully dont spit in your pie and deliver it before the next ice age = 14.50 delivery vs 8.80 carryout...unless you got an extra 6 bucks bc you dont want to drive 2 miles just go pick it up and get it in 15 mins stead of 45 mins

Back when Domino's used to offer 30 minutes or its half off...60 mins and its free it was fun to get it delivered and just gamble that the penetrate would get backed up but now penetrate it...it ALWAYS takes 45 mins now, in old days that would be 15 mins over me gettin it for half

The $1.50-$2.50 charge does not go to the drivers. Its goes to the store in covering the drivers mileage reimbursement. This costs was initiated primarily due to rise in fuel costs and thus rise in mileage rate set by IRS and used by many pizza delivery establishments as reimbursement for driver mileage.

That being said, you should tip the guy a few bucks as its the right thing to do. If not and you order from the same establishment regularly just remember that they have your food, in there car, by themselves.

I also got a 5 dollar coupon for my next dominos order, best deal in town 12 bucks for 2 medium and you get a 5 dollar gift certificate...essentially its 7 bucks + tax for 2 mediums + 1.50 delivery charge if you get it delivered of course (I dont care what Domino's calls that delivery charge I call it a tip)

Also, if Dominos is actually slow delivering things, complain thru their order tracker, you'll get free breadsticks/cinnasticks with your next order if they actually messed up.

They specifically state that the charge does not go to drivers. They could just increase prices by $.50 and get the same amount, but then they couldn't advertise 5.99 medium pizzas, it was be $6.49. It's a business move how they set prices. And I don't blame the driver, but if my pizza takes over an hour to deliver from down the street, yes, I am going to let them know. I basically only get dominos when I am too drunk to go anywhere else and want food fast, otherwise I order from some better pizza joints.

I usually just round up to the nearest $5. So usually a pizza is $27 so I'll go $30 or if its $32 I'll go $35.

Papa johns is the most +ev pizza out there. Just go to the retail me not website and you can get promo codes. You can either get a percentage off or extra points. plus you get points if you sign up with papa johns. i have 2 free pizzas right now on my account just from using promo codes.

as far as tipping i usually toss them a 5, even though its like 2 blocks away. I dont penetrate with people that handle my food. Ive had a party where i had two girls answer the door in only bra and panties. No tip is needed in that case. If you have a smoke show wife/gf/mom have her try that to get out of a tip. If you're fukkin a porker dont insult the delivery guy though.

I worked at restauraunts (including a Papa Johns as my first job) and I seen people do some fukked up stuff to people for stuff like that.

If you order from the same dominos and routinely stiff they I guarantee there is a note on your account.

And while you are quick to point out that they shouldnt have been deliver drivers, you should also realize that as deliver drivers many do not have a lot to lose.
