Has this coutry gone to hell! 6 Secret Servicemen gone.
Hey, what the hell is going on in this country? Could this have happened 20 years ago, where you can't even trust the Secret Service, probably the most responsible group in America whose job it is to protect our country?

I find this un-American and unforgivable, What do their wives think of their heroic men who are supposed to be our elite men of honor?

There is something rotten in Denmark, here? These men as a whole, the ones on the mission to protect our president, are covering up for each other and have been for no telling how long. When you have a group of these men, and almost all, so far, looking corrupted with their selfish greed, someone, or a huge majority of the guys have been covering for each others immoral flaws, apparently, because this kind of gall, partying with prostitutes, must surely be the only tip of the iceberg of past improper behavior?

Are Obama and the Director of the Secret Service, Mark Sullivan, not responsible in some manner? After all, even our supposed elites need some close scrutiny at times. Maybe Obama emits a sense of lax rules, all over the country?

I've never agreed with that BS, "never rat out your fellow soldiers, peer buddies or associates!" Someone must stand up to indecent behavior, or this country is a phony for everything it supposed to stand for.

If the opportunity to bang some Columbian hookers presented itself to me, the odds that whatever duties I had going on at the time would be neglected would be very good.

TF, I suppose you are single, and maybe, are not to particular who you sleep with?
Also, I would not want to share a foxhole with you. You might leave me in harms way if a prostitute happened by?

I specified Columbian hookers Abe, not garden variety white/black/mexican trash ones you can find in any random city like Ft Wayne, IN or Amarillo etc.

This is the broad from the scandal. If she came "happening by" I'm afraid you would be left to your own devices in that foxhole my friend.

Besides her "nose" being too big, I never liked used products. Good luck, and each man for his own choice of self-destruction. I think all of us have one.

Here's the latest in the S.S.Ice-Berg Gate! King is trying to downplay this because of the 6,000 employees of the S.S. Hah! How about a select crew of 11, chosen for a highly highly important mission, and they all, or at least several, are guilty of undesirable conduct in the 1St. degree.? So, maybe, any other 11 taken at random would not be caught in the same shameful scenario? Good question.
Another question: Is this Obama's ticket on a fast train leaving town?

Rep. King wants to know whether 'per diem' used to pay Colombia prostitutes

                Published April 22, 2012

                FoxNews.com

A top House Republican wants to know whether Secret Service employees involved in the prostitution scandal in Colombia used their taxpayer "per diem" to pay any of the women for their services.

House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Peter King, R-N.Y., posed the question along with dozens of others in a letter to Secret Service Director Mark Sullivan as part of his committee's escalating probe into the controversy. The questions covered everything from the potential security risks to internal training procedures.

On the issue of prostitute payment, King asked the director two questions -- how many agents paid the women, and how many "provided monetary remuneration to the female foreign nationals involved in the alleged incident in Colombia with the per diem provided by the U.S. government?"

It's unclear how much money the agents may have shelled out on the night in question, or whether any of that money came from the government pocketbook -- one of the women reportedly was paid $225 for the night. It's one of the many questions lawmakers have for the Obama administration as they launch their own investigations into the alleged misconduct.

"Every possible lead is being examined," King said Sunday.

Asked about King's letter, Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan told FoxNews.com in an e-mail: "We'll answer all inquiries from Congress."

Six Secret Service employees so far have been ousted as a result of the agency's internal probe.

King, speaking on NBC's "Meet the Press," said he expects that in the "near future, several other" members of the Secret Service will leave.

The Defense Department is also investigating the involvement of an estimated 12 service members.

King said Sunday that the administration needs to have a "zero-tolerance policy."

In his letter to Sullivan, he joined other lawmakers in asking whether any members of the White House staff were involved. White House Press Secretary Jay Carney has dismissed these questions -- but on Sunday, Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., called on the White House to launch an internal probe to find out definitively whether any members of the White House advance team or others were involved.

"I'd say it's a reasonable question and that the White House ought to be conducting its own internal investigation of White House personnel who were in Cartagena, just to make sure that none of them were involved in this kind of inappropriate behavior," Lieberman said on "Fox News Sunday."

King, in his letter, also asked for the ages and nationalities of all of the female foreign nationals involved. He asked whether they were alone in the hotel rooms of Secret Service agents at any time, and whether the government has swept those rooms for eavesdropping devices.

King and other lawmakers have voiced concern that the alleged actions of the agents could have put U.S. security at risk.

Obama campaign adviser David Axelrod said Sunday that the allegations were disturbing, but that the misdeeds of a few individuals should not tarnish the overall work and reputation of the service.

Axelrod told CNN's "State of the Union" that he always felt the agents were willing to do anything to protect the president and the people around him. He called the agents' conduct in Colombia "really disappointing."

"I was surprised by it," he said, adding, "You know, people being what they are, you're never totally surprised. In any organization, things can go wrong." Axelrod worked at the White House before leaving last year to work full time in Obama's re-election campaign headquarters in Chicago.

Wikipedia says: Per diem (Latin for "per day" or "for each day") is a daily allowance for expenses, a specific amount of money that an organization gives an individual per day to cover living and traveling expenses in connection with work done away from home or on tour. Per diem is also used as an adjective and an adverb.

Yea it is basically an allotment that's adjusted by area an rank/position on any assignment. For instance if they go to Germany for a week...they get x amount of dollars into their pay on top of salary for those days...if they go to Oshkosh Wisconsin...again are given added $$. Can very from $11 - $114 extra per day.

                            No joke there!
How would Ronald Reagan or Dwight Eisenhower--two of the elite presidents that had unquestioned honor and dedication to duty for country-- have handled these men?

Believe it or not, we once had men like these, just not that many.

Anyone who thinks this is the first time any member of the security teams whether it be military or one of the other inner agencies or Sect Service has done something 'morally questionable' is pretty sheltered. Doesn't matter era either, it's actually tame now compared to the older guys and the pictures and stories that can be told about the 80's and 90's.
