Both Nugent and more are from the entertainment industry and are current activists....bot take extreme sides of their political ideology and resort to personal character attacks. Moore is anti-2nd Amendment and did the documentary on weapons...Nugent is pro 2nd Amendment and does work for the gun lobby. So to me they are in the same boat, just opposite sides.

I'm not a big fan of the argument that you can or can't comment on matters of international defense policy unless you've been in uniform. Does it help? Sure...a better perspective but it doesn't invalidate your right to opinion. Should Obama be allowed to talk about Health Care? He's never been a doctor right? Should he explain macro/micro economics to me? He's not an economist is he?

That's logical if we're talking about a rational, sane person. It's not clear that Nugent is such a person. I say that in a liberal "I'm worried about that guy" way. I'm not a doctor, but I wouldn't be surprised if he has mental health issues. That combined with a microphone, and lots of guns, can be dangerous.
