Worldwide, soccer is #1. I was talking about North America.

But how is it not difficult to figure out? Why shouldn't soccer and hockey be involved?

I could make an argument against soccer; Euro leagues have games at odd hours which would be difficult to score. Plus the 3 point win / loss / draw might be difficult or confusing to grade.

Hockey is really no different from basketball on the money line. Games start at about the same times during the day, they are played during the same season, and they are super easy to grade.

I really don't know why I'm being ganged up on here. I understand that hockey isn't as popular as the other major sports and I also understand many of you don't care about it, but from a gambling perspective it is exactly like betting baseball (-1.5 spreads and MLs) and MLs work the same as anything else.

If it isn't any more difficult to be graded, why shouldn't it be included? I'm not bashing SBR at all here I'm just genuinely curious. I'd like a better answer than hockey isn't popular/hockey is stupid.

Because as the contest is structured, with roughly 10 plays per round, the current format prevents players from using +250ish MLs on their final play(s) to come from behind and defeat their opponent. Instead, all matches and players involved have an even playing field, all using (roughly) -110 lines throughout the contest.

You could make an argument against every ML sport - soccer, tennis, boxing, etc., which is why they're all excluded in this particular contest.

Each wager is to win one base unit.

Contestants may not pick the opposite play of their opponent. If you bet the opposite side the play will not be counted.

Round 1: 8-10 plays (minimum 8)
Round 2: 8-10 plays (minimum 8)
Round 3: 8-10 plays (minimum 8)
Sweet 16: 10 plays exactly
Elite 8: 12 plays exactly
Final 4: 14 plays exactly
Finals: 15 plays exactly

Each round will run from Wednesday to Monday, to conclude with the Monday Night Football game each week.

For the NBA games and the one college listed tonight, you can submit picks up until the time listed in the Daily Lines thread. All times are EST.

We will have tons of college games hung up for Saturday, as well as the entire pro football and basketball slate as well.
