Is it even worth replying to the posts that 'PhillyFlyers' makes? He's so ignorant and stubborn that I don't know if we should even bother answering him. He's clearly grabbing at straws because he can't admit that the Devils outplayed Flyers. How could the Devils have played the trap if they needed to come back in most of the games because the Flyers scored first? The Devs played the trap for maybe a total of 2-3 period; you would have seen that if you actually watched the games. In fact, many teams play the trap when they are winning late in the third, not just the Devils.

Did you not see the Devils' aggressive forecheck during tied games when the Flyers couldn't get the puck out of their zone? The poster above me also makes good points that prove your claims to be completely idiotic. At least most of the other stupid Flyers fans have learned to eat crow and keep quiet for a few months, but not you.

You just keep coming up with more and more excuses; it really is amazing how stupid you're making yourself look. I know that you'll come back and try to convince everyone again that the Devils still play the trap but they haven't for the last seven years. There's an article on ESPN that is directed at idiots like you to explain how the Devils do not play the trap any longer.

Flyers are light years ahead offensively, better defensively, have the better goalie, and the best power play.

Flyers are also getting healthy.

They have JVR back, Grossmann who has been our best defender since he got here, and possibly another very good defenseman in Meszaros sometime this round or the next.

I kind of feel like I would be actually taking unfair advantage of you with this deal.

I'll post in whatever thread I want to post in; don't make guarantees if you're going to act like a baby when you're wrong.

I'm not really sure what you idiots would like the Devils to do. If they play well defensively, they're ruining the game. If they forecheck hard, that's part of their system, so they're still ruining games. What system would you like them to play? One that gets them smoked in the second round of the playoffs? I'd rather combine the two aspects of the game and come up with a winning system, just as Deboer has dond Whatever system the Devils played dominated your team so badly that you should be embarrassed. I honestly can't believe you're still trying to defend this year's Flyers team. The Devils are much more aggressive than they have been in recent years, but honestly who gives a shit? Winning is what matter and that is what the Devils are doing this year and can continue into the cup final.

Also, I don't actually go to ESPN for any hockey coverage. I cringe on Sportscenter when the announcers mispronounce every player's name. Their hockey articles offer no insight; it seems like they don't even watch the games they report on, I think we can both agree on that. I only saw that article because I was on the ESPN New York page looking for news on the Knicks and the Devils article was one of the top stories.

And saying that you forgot more about hockey than I'll ever learn is one of the stupidest, must unoriginal things anyone can say. It's impossible to discern how much I know about hockey from one argument we are having. Only an insecure loser has to convince others that he knows more about hockey than everyone else; others are confident in their hockey knowledge and don't need to flaunt it like you.

I figured out what 'PhillyFlyers' does. He makes as many predictions as his fingers can type so that he's bound to be correct some of the time. Rather than offer five predictions and aim to be correct three times, he throws out 100 predictions and brags when 5 of them are right.

(add short, generic statement about me having more hockey knowledge than 'PhillyFlyers').
