Once a year ill admit is a joke. However, thats what i loved about watching old wrestling and cant get into today's. Old wwf would never playout and show the "stars" every ******* single night...the over play them because nobody wants to see the scrubs it would kill the ratings. I cant take seeing cena, orton and all them guys everyweek. That never happened with Hogan, Macho , Ultimate warrior.

You are in the minority. The reason the stars needed to show up every week was because ratings started to decrease when it was only up and comers vs. journeymen.

Then they had the circus sideshow with Doink the Clown, Mick Foley parodies, freakshows from around the world, sexy hot lets get naked girls and 120 minutes of ridiculousness.

Now it's become a true soap opera with characters having specific personalities/traits and getting into conflicts with one another.

Of course there is/was a bit of all these concepts throughout wwf/wwe but it's how the business has changed.
