The only way I see to insert emoticons into your post is to go to "Go Advanced" options? Is this correct? We used to be able to pick a small smattering of emoticons directly from the regular reply box.

I need my emoticons easily accessible to me, Lou. They've become a part of me.

You can still throw in the smiley faces on Quick Reply. Just click the yellow face:

As Lou said, in a week I will have forgotten what the site looked like yesterday.
It is pretty white.
Can/would you add a points forum choice in the drop down Sports Forum box - there are things line american idol, politics, so it is not just sports?

I really thought my Driod was acting up when I logged in this morning, good thing I can read. Like it its a new look and fresh. Two things takes longer to read thru all post and the switch to full site doesn't work. Otherwise thumbs up like Siskel and Ebert.

besides that.. NON PROS show up as PROS in the mobile version.. THIS IS A HUGE PROBLEM for lenders in particular

One immediate thing I see is on the main PT screen you can't scroll over the thread title to view the first line or two of that post.I always thought that was a slick feature.

Other than that and the mobile issues....all of this = much ado about nothing people act like fukkin broads over this stuff

lou, when looking at "my posts" it seems that the time is being cut off where it shows when the last person posted. this isn't a FF problem as i took this screenie in chrome. not a huge deal, but still nice to see the time

I won't get to check out the full site until after work. Im excited. Aside from a few glitches that need worked out, the mobile site looks good.

Well I dont like the new changes AT ALL! I actually really liked the forum the way that it was. I post at 5 forums and really thought that the format here was the best or at least tied with rx.

Now it looks really awful. I need to change my page size from 100% to 70% I think. It takes too long to load each page and only one post per page.

One thing that almost HAS to be done is to get rid of the badges!! And I have alot of them and still dont want them. Or at least limit everyone to like their 5 best badges.

But then again, no one asked me or will ask my opinion. But if for some reason you ever wanted to go back to the way that it was, please DO!

Mobile needs more surgery, but with the exception of those bugs it sounds like we're down to styling. Let us know what you think once you get to your PC as well.

Your opinion is definitely valued.

The forum is larger, but the spacing can be looked at tweaking so it seems more compact. It is a style preference, but one we're considering.

I almost always use my iPhone and the mobile version is horrible. You need to be able to see who created the thread, and not just the last poster, as you could before. navigation is currently impossible. Plus all the many other issues that people have already stated. It's unusable in its current state! Hope it gets fixed soon.

How about limiting everyone to their 4 or 5 best badges??

That would help get more posts on each page when you read a thread. As it is now, the new forum makes you want to NOT open threads. But maybe you upgraded the forum just to get me to not come to the site very often.

Edit by SBR Lou: The badges are a thing folks wear with pride. They add more weight to the post but there are other style tweaks we're considering.

I am on latest firefox and on pc.

Used to be able to use quick reply and hit tab enter to send post.. Very convienent.. but now show your signature is the first tab.... cant we just have that removed? its a wasted thing considering its in the settings options anyway.. i mean doubt people wanna show their sig some posts.. but not others.. that way tab enter works again please

(* ps. I know tab tab enter works.. but its annoying slightly

The old look was just simple looking and easy to use. There wasn't much going on and therefore it was very easy to navigate.

Is there any new features with this new look? Or did you just make it look different and not as easy to use for us old farts.

Also, in Mobile verson, you can only see who last posted in the thread. It was nice to see who started the thread without having to open the thread...

Probably being picky, sorry. Going to take some getting used to for sure.
