Can anyone see the "New Posts" link anywhere? Used to use it all the time.

This sucks. New posts link is missing on most pages. Need to navigate a page or two just to find it.

I think everyone is overreacting. Anyway, can we get a thread that shows all the changes? Or was it mostly to make the site more mobile friendly?

"It's the new forum software version. This is a pretty big upgrade for normal forums and bigger for us because of the custom add-ons. When the dust settles we will be faster for it because of the way the new software talks to other parts of the network."

Much much smoother and more refined than previous version. Already finding it quite user friendly, esp on mobile. Old SBR was never this smooth on phone. Good job Lou and everyone behind this...sorry coach

Several issues that I'm not a fan of, some have already been mentioned.
1. It is too bright
2. It does take forever to scroll a page via iPhone
3. There's no way to go straight to the end of a thread
4. Why do I have to hit a "reply" button to post a quick reply? It was easier when the option was available w/o having to hit "reply"
5. People's tag lines aren't separated from the thread comment. They need seperated by a line or something. It's to garbled.
6. I like the old mobile version alot better.

2. Scrolling: We're considering the scrolling requests - we may be able to reduce some more padding.
3. End of thread: You can, click the first unread post button in the top left.
4. You don't, just scroll down.
5. Not sure what you mean on this.
6. Mobile needs more tweaking but we think you'll get used to it.

lou, both times i've gone to reply here at the bottom reply box it has been filled with the forum in the reply box. whats up with that? see pic below

and it seems that theres too much wasted space with posts. they used to be slim but now are "thicker". seems like a lot more scrolling now

It looks like you're a few yrs versions behind with Firefox. Can you tell us the exact version? We've never seen this before, but updating to the latest version of Firefox would fix it.

There's no edit button. There's no way to tell if you've posted in the thread before. On the old version (via iPhone) when you selected a thread, you could open it in a new window and you could select if you wanted to go to the first post in the thread or the last page. Now when you click a thread you HAVE to go to the first page and can't skip to the last page. There's too much wasted space between thread posts.

Edit by SBR Lou: The Edit Button is just slightly further down than what you're used to. It's literally maybe 2 inches below the old spot.

#2 Post padding: The SBR Badge area contributes more padding on this new design. It is a style preference --- and one we're considering.

Ok. There is a tiny little green plus showing you threads you've posted in. Now I see it. Just really small. I'm on iPhone but have no edit button. What I mentioned in my previous thread, let me elaborate. On iPhone when you clicked a thread title it would take you to the first page but there was a way to go straight to the last page of a thread from the home page. Now you are required to go to the first page of the thread before you can skip to the last page. Any way to remove that step so you can go straight to the end of the thread from the homepage?
